I have been singing and studying voice for over 23 years since I was a child! I hold a Bachelors from Musicians Institute and other accomplished degrees from American Musical Dramatic Academy to conclude my quest for vocal excellence and the ability to sing in multiple languages ( English, Spanish, Japanese and Italian) I have been lucky enough to study with some of the top teachers in the country and now I bring the experience I have gained directly to you!
I am proud to share my student's vast array of musical successes. From being cast on short anime films and musicals to being accepted into prestigious performing arts academies to conquering the Karaoke scene. My passion for multiple languages and love of music is the desire driving me to share the gifts for teaching young children to open the door to their own musical abilities an
d hidden artistic desires. I am currently writing a musical which will be debuting in 2020. I'm currently the vocal coach/Trainer and choir director at Iglesia Elim Central.
I will make sure my students have fun and help them get in the right track to their musical goals.
Also, I constantly upload videos on Singing, The Spanish Language, and Japanese! So keep Checking in! It ranges on tips and answering the most common questions on those particular subjects!

*** Lesson Details *** I do my absolute best to create a positive atmosphere for my students. Even when the students feel frustrated or stressed, it is important to inspire them and give them the fuel that they need. Though I am strict when it comes to homework and their about their studies. Every lesson at the beginning I will review what we learned previously and test them. then begin with proper breathing technique exercises, the cornerstone of all vocals. We move on to vocal exercises to condition the voice. Then we work on the songs that you are eager to sing!
I will use a piano when doing vocal warm ups and conditioning exercises. Students that play other instruments and accompany themselves when performing (such as a guitar) are encouraged to bring that instrument to their lessons. My goal is for them to gain the knowledge that they need to help reach their artistic goals. With all my lessons every student will be taught a basic run down of Music Theory. My students will always progress in what they do. They will have the discipline that they need and yet have fun and be filled with inspiration. Which is the most important thing, to be Inspired to do better.
*** Studio Equipment *** iMac, condensing mic...performing mic, keyboard, mixer...living room of apartment.
*** Travel Equipment *** I do have a portable keyboard. Though I do expect the student to have their own recording device and karaoke tracks. At Home I do have a studio, and if the students has an iPod or an Mp3 player I can attach it to a device where all of us can hear the tracks. I do have a recording studio as well.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in Musical Theatre, and Pop rock genres. When I teach my students I always have them learn a song of another language whether it's Spanish or Japanese. It helps with diction when they learn a song outside the English Language. Also, It helps them to learn another Language at the same time. Also, I give them a little anatomy class when they are learning how to sing. I give them a model of the Vocal Cords and different areas of the Larynx and which part works for the chest voice and the head voice.

I would absolutely recommend Rosita because I think she has the bestSpanish course for medical Spanish. It’s everything that you need without having to go through a bunch of unrelated Spanish vocabulary. I don’t really need to know how to order a meal, I want to find out how I can help my patient. I need to be able to communicate with my patients and understand what they’re saying back. It’s nice to have something so perfect for our profession. And I think that it’s also nice because it’s an interactive lesson. The training course is pretty easily accessible and you can go back and look up lessons and refresh what you need to look at.

Angela Solis is a violin and viola teacher with more that 12 years of experience. She started her music studies in Spain, where she finished her Bachelor Degree in music in 2004 and where most of her performance and teaching experience was forged between the classical, contemporary and regional styles. Her experience in performance includes playing in several orchestras, ensembles, recording studios and as the lead singer and founder of her band “Costellas”.
Her teaching experience was also broadened when she decided to attend multiple Suzuki and Rolland method workshops in Spain and set off traveling around Asia, where Angela also worked as a Violin and Viola teacher and came in contact with the ABSRM system.
One of her greatest professional achievements was to obtain the Viola teacher position in the state music system in Spain. It
is a hard process that can take years and where one has to prove a high level in performance, teaching skills and instrument related knowledge. Angela got the 6th highest score in the test that year of 2008.
Being an instrument teacher is not easy, and teaching a string instrument is really hard during the first stages. Angela invested lots of time and effort promoting both instruments and motivating the scarce students she first got so they could thrive. Some of them pursue today successful music careers and the number of Viola and violin teachers in the school she started doubled in 3 years.
Nowadays, Angela lives in San Francisco, where she moved around 2 years ago, got married, and have some private students while taking private lessons herself from a teacher of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is also learning composition and Music production and practices chamber music whenever she has the chance.

¡Hola! I am Marisol. I was born in Peru and also lived in Venezuela for many years. I currently live in the beautiful Northwest coast of Oregon. I used to practice law in South America. Now, looking for a more relaxing life with my family, I have found enjoyment teaching Spanish to people of different ages and backgrounds. I have been teaching Spanish since 2010. I have experience teaching at all levels and ages, including people that want to learn the language as a personal goal or traveling purposes, college students, and professionals that need Spanish for their work. I have also taught Spanish to preschool/elementary/middle/high school students. Most of these students need help with the Spanish they are learning at school. It has been very rewarding seeing them improve their knowledge, grades, and motivation to learn. About my
teaching style, I like Spanish immersion, and I focus on conversation with good grammar and pronunciation. We will be talking a lot in Spanish during our lessons. The lessons are tailored to my students needs. I am happy to join TakeLessons and bring my experience as a Spanish teacher. I hope to see you and talk to you soon. Marisol ***BEFORE purchasing lessons with me, please make sure that any of my availability times works with your schedule. Let me know if you have any questions.***

"Extremely professional, he taught me lessons for about year. The books he recommended were very helpful and easy to understand. Richard has taught me the
most useful Japanese phrases for real situations. I would recommend him to anyone who is beginning or intermediate like me. I would not have the skill speaking and reading that I do now without his tutoring."
"Superb and knowledgeable instructor"

"If you are looking for a caring, friendly and very experienced learning facilitator in the German language and culture, then you need look no further than
Wolfgang Soldan. Mr. Soldan was my instructor in a conversational German class at the former UTB Language Institute in Brownsville. I liked him as a teacher so much that I later sought him out for additional private lessons, which he provided to me in his home at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with Mr. Soldan in both situations. Mr. Soldan was always extremely well prepared. He challenged me with a variety of interesting and fun learning activities. He tailored the lessons to my level of experience. He was even reasonably available for additional assistance outside of our arranged meetings. With a lifelong passion for teaching and the arts, Mr. Soldan has also accumulated a wealth of knowledge about additional learning resources to supplement your individual experience. Mr. Soldan built on my existing level of German and left me with a stronger foundation as well as desire to continue my studies. Mr. Soldan has my highest recommendation to provide you with a superior learning experience that will be well worth your time and money. You will be in good hands with Mr. Soldan. Contact him now!"
"Adriana is great. My first lesson was very good and I learned a lot."
"After my first class with Karin, it was apparent that she caters her lessons to your goals and quickly sets expectations around them. In preparation for a
trip to Germany, we started with improving my conversation skills. I'm very pleased with her lessons so far."
