About Guifang
I have more than nine years of language teaching experience. I have learned five languages over the years in China and overseas. I started tutoring Chinese students (age 8-16) English and Chinese when I was 19 and I founded my first summer camp in China when I was 20. Students who had registered for my summer camp increased from 25 in 2010 to 86 in 2016. I've gained very valuable skills and perspectives in teaching, not just as a teacher, but also as a student--students are my teachers too--I've learned there are always places that I can improve and better help them learn languages. Students' "needs" and "wants" are prioritized. It helps students achieve their goals while combined with students' "lacks" in lesson planning. Students should get involved in the lesson planning process.

e Chinese speakers (in China, South Korea and the U.S) Chinese, it seemed it stimulated their curiosity and interest to learn Chinese when cultural elements were introduced--such as characters' origin and visualization, historical contexts and cultural traditions. I hope that approach can also bring you an enjoyable experience learning a new language!
To help you be able to use Chinese, our language learning is mainly through interactive and communicative approaches. Talk! Talk! Talk! Please don't be shy. It's okay to make mistakes. Learning from mistakes is also a very effective way to learn a new language. We can make more contextualized dialogues based on whatever textbook you are using now. Or we can produce functional conversation based on everyday topics that you are interested. Lesson plans are customized and they can be flexible.
Ready to get on the boat and sail on the sea of Chinese? :)

It is my duty for me to teach you as much information on the Language in the most comprehensive way possible.

I'm originally from Long Island City, New York. I had a teacher of Japanese descent and she always brought her culture to the classroom. I was 10 years old, and I used to ask her questions about the way she
would dress and her mannerisms and she would tell me anything I wanted to know. The culture is where it began for me, but the language is what took me on a whole different level of mentality and understanding.
I began learning the language at the age of 12 from a Japanese friend. At age 14 I learned from online courses and music, it was so intriguing to me that I began self study. At age 17 is when my listening skills began to kick in. I was understanding not only music but some Anime, this is when it really got fun lol. At age 20, is when I reached advance speaking proficiency and was able to understand LIVE dialoge from Natives. I am now 27. I am excited to teach and speak fluent japanese to you guys so you can hear it in it's native form.
So Anthony why should I choose you to be my teacher?
#1 I am literate in Japanese, I speak proper and perfect English so you will understand me lol.
#2 I will talk to you in a relatable way, so you will not feel like you're in a boring lecture, Japanese is an exciting language, so you do not need to feel like you're preached to.
#3 I will make this fun and interactive, keeping you engaged from beginning to end, wanting to know more. Most importantly I will give you as much information in the time given, so you can leave knowing your money is well spent.
#4 Lastly I can teach you formal and informal Japanese. I will give you all the key components to the Japanese Language without the fluff. In most language instruction there are key things to know mixed with fluff. This is what makes students lose interest or get confused. There will be no fluff in my class, everything that I teach you will be a key component to your language learning success.
So what are you waiting for ? Your success starts here !! Let's do this !! :)
