Emily's background in musical theater is perfect for teaching our 10-year-old daughter! We signed her up for jazz to help her with choreography. We love that Emily teaches routines with Broadway music. She has also been very responsive by email, and Emily tailored our lessons to best fit our daughter.

Emily is a wonderful yoga teacher and I look forward to every class! She is motivating, kind, patient and fun!

We did not have the best experience with Emily and Take Lessons. When first inquiring about acting lessons for my daughter as a Christmas present, I was told by Emily I could purchase single acting lessons. I found out this was not the case. Because of the confusion, they allowed me to purchase just 2 to start with. The first lesson was fine. The second lesson, we got a couple reminder emails with a link to join the lesson, which is great, however after being signed in 10 minutes early and then it got to be 15 mins after the lesson was supposed to start and it hasn't, I emailed Emily and I was told I wasn't supposed to click on the link in the reminder email. I was supposed to join a Google meet, which I never received an invite for. The lesson was canceled, so we wouldn't get charged per Emily, however, our credit card was charged a fee that same day. The lesson was rescheduled as it was already paid for. At the beginning of the lesson I mentioned I would like to purchase more lessons for my daughter and inquired about lesson times outside of school hours. She said she would check her availability and get back to me. The next day all I got was an email saying good luck to you, I am not able to find a time for your daughter. Not accommodating at all.

Mariana is an outstanding tutor in Accent Reduction. I have noticed a great difference in the suppression of my accent in just five classes. Moreover, She has other specialities in English which I have not gotten opportunity at this moment, I would work with her on that as well and will provide additional feedback. But I can tell you with confidence that she will turn out to be a great mentor for English and Spanish for you.

Daniel is a fantastic chess teacher. I am at an intermediate level, and have had two lessons with Daniel so far, and I can already see my game improving. Daniel is very professional, and I can tell he genuinely cares about advancing my skills. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone interested in a chess teacher.

Helped me a lot with pronunciation. At times he is hard to understand because of his accent, but I'm sure I am hard for him to understand as well. Still, I learned a lot and want to continue.
