I have been taking the world by surprise since the age of 4. I began studying at Queens College at 6 years old and was a recital pianist by the age of 12. I honestly don't know where to begin. Sharon West has helped me in so many ways! Not just vocally but in all aspects of performing and in life. I was a 13 year old little girl when I met Sharon for the first time. I immediately knew she was the person that was going to help me achieve my goals. I don't know how I got so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing, caring and loving vocal coach but I was totally blessed! Thank you, Sharon for all that you have done for me. Love you lots Sharon

When my daughter was younger, she would sing in her room, the shower or anywhere else she felt comfortable. She was very shy but loved to sing. When she was 13 years old, she lost her grandfather. This was devastating to her and the rest of our family. After the loss, she decided she wanted to make singing a part of her life. Not being musically inclined myself, I didn't know where to turn. Lucky for us, we stumbled upon Sharon West! For the next 6 years, Sharon worked with my daughter weekly teaching her so much more than just music. She guided her on all aspects of performance from singing to entertaining her audience. Sharon West was a huge part of our lives and we could never thank her enough. My daughter now performs in front of thousands and you would never have known she was every a shy, quit little girls. Sharon is by far, the best vocal/performance coach. Love and Miss you Sharon

I took lessons with Sharon weekly from the age of 14 until I was about 17 years old. Still to this day (I'm almost 21), I remember the tips she gave me about singing. Sharon is such a wonderful person that I've had the privilege of getting to know. She is very knowledgeable about the professional business and about how to be the best singer you can be. She definitely changed my voice for the better. As a student at Emerson College, I'm constantly performing, Sharon's lessons always ring true for me.

Hi! I'm Carissa, a working actor and playwright, and would love to work with you on your craft! I grew up heavily immersed in the arts from a young age. For Middle School and High School I attended one of the top Performing Arts schools in the State of California, where I was able to take classes such as ballet, tap, jazz, acting, and playwriting daily. After that, I earned a spot in, and graduated from, the BFA Acting program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After taking a year to work professionally in theatre and television, I moved to Ireland to earn my MFA in Playwriting from The Lir Academy (an affiliate school of London's RADA). Teaching has been a big part of my life, from private study to running theatre camps for kids. I'm well versed in the drama school audition trail and would love to help you prepare fo

About Keena
I graduated with a BFA in dance from The Ohio State University, one of the top 5 modern dance departments in the country. I took my first dance class at two years old and have been dancing ever since. I've been a professional dancer for over 20 years and I am trained in modern, contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, West African, tap, lyrical, burlesque and ballet. I am a dancer who believes that dancing is about more than just technique. You have to have technique but you also have to have stage presence and dynamic performance. That is what I am known for. I encourage my students to dance beyond technique and find your own individual expression as a dancer.

I have danced for many well known musical artists, commercials, films and award shows. I have a unique gift to be able to make a dancer out of anyone. I can see your movement quali
ty and style and help you reach your full potential. I teach in a fun and easy to understand way that gives you a balance of technique and stage performance. You will leave every rehearsal feeling confident and looking forward to the next one. I am also a professional actor on TV and Film and have toured the country in theatre shows. My acting helps me to bring a performance element to dance and I am able to communicate instruction and technique for easy understanding. I teach all levels and customize each lesson so that you are always challenged in a fun way. I currently teach at a dance academy that prepares and sends students off to the professional world so I am consistently in the world of dance every week and bring a freshness to our rehearsals. As a dancer I believe we never stop learning and growing.

I want to teach and work with dancers who are excited and passionate and ready to have some fun. You will see your technique improve, discover more of what you thought you could do and have a great time doing it all. With my versatility as a dancer/choreographer and actor you will discover dance in a new way. I really look forward to meeting you.
