I've helped a few poets get on stage with their poems and read at poetry events including poetry slams. I very much believe that each poet and poem can have its own sound. there is a 'way', a cadence that is heard at many poetry readings that has become too dominant and everyone seems to fall into the copying of this cadence. You can find your own and your poetry deserves your own voice and its own voice. Listen to the word You have written. Speak them from Your heart.

Singing is an extension of speech, and actors, broadcasters and voice over artists can all benefit and improve the sound of their speaking voices by learning correct vocal technique. I start with the basics of breathing and support with some vocalizations/basic singing. Then we work by applying the techniques to a variety of texts.

This subject is directed at those with stuttering difficulty. The technique focuses on breath and identifying trouble areas and finding an ongoing set of exercises and technique to allow the student to never worry about stuttering again. STUTTERING!!!! I mention stuttering under other headings, but as in other headings as well, I am malleable. I tailor all classes to the student's needs. If stuttering isn't your problem, then we will address your needs. Unfortunately, the site has no subject specifically for stuttering, so here we are. If you look at my background, you can see I am mainly an acting coach and all that implies. We can call the class whatever you like; I am here to help. I was taught under the Alexander Method in my studies in Acting for my undergraduate degree.
