Hey there! My name is Lindsay. I truly enjoy teaching everything in the realm of physical activity. I grew up dancing at Mark Spivaks Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. I studied under a Russian Prima ballerina. I played soccer. I swam. My lifestyle at a young age has reflected in my work as an adult. Nowadays I love yoga, hiking, running, art, and being a big sister! If I have one goal in my professional life it would be to inspire active living in today's youth. I completed my 450 hour pilates certification which compliments my teachings in every field due to the anatomical approach. Currently I work as a dance teacher, pilates instructor, yoga teacher and flexibility coach. My passion for movement will inspire you to achieve your goals. I love to make any positive difference to a client: in their day, in their body, in their outlook. I’m an eager student, so I’m constantly teaching new stuff I’ve recently learned. I look forward to meeting you and reaching the finish line- whatever that may be!
I am enthusiastic about teaching online lessons as well. I find that online training works amazingly well, and is extremely convenient for people with busy schedules.

I teach group classes and private clients. Group classes are classical and contemporary fused exercises. Every class is different to prevent boredom :). Privates are tailored to the individual.

Lindsay put together mommy and me ballet lessons for my 2 year old and I. We looked forward to our lessons and she kept my daughter engaged and having fun the entire time. Over the course of a year, not only did we have a lot of fun doing ballet together, she actually learned a few basic steps and is comfortable with the rhythm of warming up, dancing, then cooling down. Having Lindsay live online was much better than a video because she interacted with Skye and could adjust the lesson to keep her involved. I'm new to pilates so I can easily get confused. Not with Lindsay! She is so specific with the movements, I know exactly what to do next! My daughter wanted me to find her a flexibility coach to help her with dance. Because we live in a rural community, this type of instruction is not available. I did an online search and was very fortunate to connect with Take Lessons and Lindsey. She takes a 30 minute lesson twice a week and has seen considerable improvement in her flexibility. She's very flexible and very knowledgeable about different types of stretches for your body. She is helping me work on my splits and straddle. I usually can get a front left leg split after an hour's session. I highly recommend her for flexibility training.+ Read More
Lindsay is very in tune with the needs of those she trains. She modifies the exercises to adjust for injuries but makes sure you are still challenged.
