Elisabetta has been teaching my daughter since January 2017. She has always been so patient and kind. My daughter has so much fun during her lessons and has learned so much. She enjoys them so much that when the pandemic hit, we knew we had to continued with her lessons online. She still manages to keep her engaged and interested during virtual lessons.
She has been with us for over 3 years and It is still something my daughter looks forward to every week. You cant find a better teacher. We love her!

Through my individualized approach, we will reach your goals. As a professional piano teacher for 20+ years, I encourage my students to feel comfortable enough to comment or ask questions during lessons, practice, and even develop a love and knowledge of music that will last a lifetime! I want the ineffable joy of playing and learning to play piano to be the reason my students attend lessons!
Proper technique is paramount, so ALL students are taught the correct technique / hand position regardless of age/ level; poor habits are difficult to break!
Each student gets a Lesson Book and a Music Journal. The journal is where I clearly document the week’s assignments (practice) and add tips and/ or specific techniques. Although I’m classically trained, I encourage students to play what they love!

I hold an annual Student Recital every June.

(NYSSMA prep offer all levels.)

*It is highly recommended that you have or plan to purchase a keyboard or piano on which to practice.

About Trina

I'm a patient, friendly, enthusiastic, classically trained pianist with an MA in music theory and 20+ years experience as a professional piano teacher. Lessons with me are personalized. Some want to be classical prodigies and some want to play their favorite songs. (Most students do both!) However

He's the consummate professional double bass player and teacher. Geoff is intelligent, courteous, patient, humorous and above all knowledgeable. So, if you're a serious upright bass student, I would, without hesitation, recommend Geoff Bowater.

"Tim's class is a great resource for anyone looking to improve their acting skills, audition technique, or general understanding of the industry. He does a wonderful job of translating his extensive experience into practical advice for other actors. Every week, he provides individualized feedback to each workshop participant on every aspect of their submission. I've learned so much about specific techniques for television and film acting, the practical and technical considerations when putting together a self-tape, as well as just general professionalism and industry standards. Thanks to this workshop, I feel much more confident and prepared for what a career in acting entails."

"Super Enjoyed our first online class..even with some technical difficulties due to my antivirus software firewall, or browser or the weak wifi in my place or something...Truly enjoyed it. Jason was very kind and patient, while we tried to fix the technical aspect. Once we got started on the phone because video and voice didn't work; I really learned a lot, and gathered insight into Acting that I couldn't get from a book or other classes that I have taken. I'm truly blessed I get the opportunity to work and learn from Jason. I am super excited and can't wait till our next lesson. I will call technical support at Take Lessons to get technical help to fix the issues, and will buy a portable wifi hotspot if I have to solve the video and sound issue. Jason is patient, kind, very nice, professional, extremely knowledgeable, I can't say enough good things. Thank you very much for all your help and your time. I look forward to the journey ahead... Take care. Aloha. -Bobby"

"My son has been working with Kelly for over a year. Kelly is an awesome teacher. She is always trying to come up with something new to keep my son engaged. This is not an easy task as my son has ADHD and can become easily distracted. She has given my son increased confidence and improved his acting chops. Sometimes he has off days due to his anxiety. If he is having an off day when he visits Kelly, she always manages to lift his spirits. He comes out of his lessons excited, happy, and full of life. Kelly has also made some great videos for us to share with family and friends. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelly! We are lucky to have found her."
