I teach beginners and advanced of all ages as well as all styles of music:

Opera - Classical - Musical Theatre - Pop - Jazz - Folk - Rock - R&B - Gospel

*I teach the freedom of the jaw, neck and shoulders to allow the breath to connect without tension allowing the production of a free vocal tone.

*Singing on the vowels with clean articulated consonants before and after the vowel is sung.

*Correct understanding and pronunciation of French, Italian, German and English languages

*Musicianship, theory, piano, all musical styles and song writing

*Performance and acting skills

*Audition techniques

*** Lesson Details ***
Lessons take place at my home studio. Lessons may be recorded on my professional recording equipment or you may bring your own recording devices. This is an excellent learning tool. I teach my students how to extend their range, increase breath control and the freedom of their body in order to enable a free and easy produced vocal tone. I teach song repertoire to the student's particular musical style choices. I also work with students that wish to write their own songs so that their musical ideas can be heard clearly and precisely. A guitar is available for students if they wish to use it to accompany themselves. I teach my students how to deal with performance anxiety . Students are presented in recitals twice a year and performance classes are held once a month in addition to the private lessons.

IF you can talk you can sing and I guarantee it!!!! I teach beginners to advanced of all ages.

Not only is Eliza a certified teacher, but she is very insightful and genuinely cares about your goals. She has given great tips and suggestions to help me improve both in and out of her class.

Since I started taking lessons with her about 5 months ago, I've seen a lot of improvement. She makes sure that you work hard every single class and she doesn't let you get away with not doing your best. Also, she has been working with me on fixing the bad habits I never knew I had before she pointed them out. Moreover, she is very observant and tailors each class to work on the things she sees you struggling with, even if you don't realize it yourself that you are having trouble. Eliza has taught me so much and I'm sure that anyone would benefit from taking her class.

I have been literally to 4 youtube teachers and though I have nothing bad to say about any of them, i know that I need a long term teacher that I can see myself growing with as a singer. Our personalities just meshed. She knows how to make one feel comfortable. She is very encouraging to students with zero self confidence like me. I think I have found the teacher I’ve been looking for in Elena! i’m excited to see what she can do to transform my voice. Her resume as well as her reviews( students spoke highly of her character) are what stood out for me out of thousands of teachers online! It is also important that I love to listen to my teacher’s voice and i love her voice😊

About Janice
Janice is a 200-hr RYT through Pure Yoga in NYC and has over 10 years of yoga training and experience. She first took a Bikram yoga class to supplement her ballet training and soon realized her yoga practice was going to be much more. She found the meditation exercises that helped her into challenging poses were just as empowering and effective in conquering the challenges of everyday life.

Janice honors the integrity of traditional yoga teachings while making them practical in today's world. Her class is centered around the vinyasa technique of breath and fluidity between poses. She teaches yoga for inner peace, strength, joy, a quiet mind, and the highest self.

Before teaching yoga, Janice worked as a technology investment analyst at a hedge fund, as well as a professional Broadway and ballet dancer.

About Becca
I grew up in Idaho, but these days I'm thrilled to have an extensive stage career as an actor in primarily Shakespeare and new work, working off-Broadway and in major regional theatres like the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. I'm a proud member of Actor's Equity, and a represented client of a top NYC agent-- both achievements I received right out of college after booking a major regional show.

Like many of my students, I grew up in a small town (mine was in Idaho) before the acting bug bit. I learned to love auditioning early, earning acceptance into Interlochen Arts Academy, the top high school performing arts boarding school in the country at age 15. After thriving there, I was accepted into a handful of top college theatre programs, ultimately choosing to study at Fordham University in New York City, where I graduated summa cum laude. S
ince then, I haven't stopped auditioning!

Now that you know I know a thing or two, here's how you'll know I'm a good fit for you:
-- You're interested in feeling more confident in auditions or onstage.
-- You're willing to take chances with me in a safe, caring environment.
-- You want a partner who will invest in your progress.
-- You're open to learning from me, and allowing me to learn from you.
-- You're trying to figure out where you fit as an actor.
-- You're ready to be surprised by yourself!

Becca is the bomb! I've done a couple of Shakespeare plays, but she taught me a lot about the text and the history of the play that I didn't know. She helped me create a subtext to the whole monologue, so I always had actions to take even without a scene partner there. I want to do a Falstaff monologue soon, and I definitely want her to help me with that, too.
