So, what is improv? Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.

Improvisation, in my opinion, is one of the most important talents that an actor can acquire. I feel that it is essential in method acting and, as a theatre performer who understands that anything can happen on stage in front of a live audience, it is a tool of survival. Improv can also unlock our ability to be natural and, in turn, more believable.

Last but not least, an actor who has mastered the art of improv will be more confident and less nervous on stage.

About Tina

Cat LaCohie, aka Vixen De Ville is an amazing instructor. I went from terrified, broken-hearted mess of a mid-life crisis to Scandal Navia, burlesque performer in a few months! Cat's snarky sense of humor adds to the fun you are certain to have in her class. Her warm encouragement, and total body positivity will have you feeling like a Queen from the first class. I still go to her every time I need to hone a new act. She's amazing not only at instruction, encouragement and choreography, she excels at solving problems, working out costume issues, knowing where to get or make literally anything and fine-tuning all your bits - both sensual and comedic. Whether you've never set foot onstage, or are a seasoned pro, you can benefit immensely from working with Cat. She is fantastic!
Debra
So much fun! Cat is so good and helping you find your inter burlesque persona. Lots of laughs with an amazing result. She does it all....you learn everything you need to know about burlesque...how to create an Act, make a Costume, and even perform! I highly recommend signing up for a life changing experience!
Velvet
Amazing teacher!

Doing course on-line I have lot of options to speak with Cat, participate in group calls and so one.
Totally worth it!

"Vanessa is wonderful. I was able to learn so much it a short period of time. She is an excellent teacher. When work slows down, I am going to take additional classes with Vanessa. She is definitely a 5 star person. I wish that I got to hear hear sing one of her favorite songs. My lessons focused on speaking voice."

My most favorite thing about him is that he has legitimate acting experience in television and film, and doesn't charge $30-$60 per hour per class. He is a busy man, but he always makes sure that he has time for his students. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to take up acting :)"

I’m an actor who has to sing in 1-2 episodes of a new show I'm in, so I started taking voice with fawn because she came highly recommended by another actor I work with. I totally think she is great and I recommend her to any one who wants to improve their speaking or singing voice or become more confident in their performances.
