Erik is a teacher, when I say teacher I mean someone who makes up a lesson plan on the spot, so that you'll be prepared for your next session.

Kudos for Erik,

Using subtext to bring realism to your performance.
Line delivery: tricks of the trade.
AUDITION
Do you have the right monologue to fit the parts you can play?
Suggestions for a monologue(s) to fit your persona. You need more than one to fit the different genres of the play or film you are auditioning for.
How to break it down, the importance of changes.
Tactics for attacking the cold read: what to do while you're waiting in the lobby after they just handed you your "sides."
Also, refer to ACTING (above).

"For all my life I have been extremely soft-spoken and have been constantly reminded to speak up in social situations. This has negatively impacted my self confidence and fed into a cycle that made me even quieter and more reserved. I tried to self-treat by browsing through countless YouTube videos and hundreds of Reddit pages but found that my practice at home did not translate into me being a louder speaker in public. Finally I decided I had nothing to lose and everything to gain from seeing a trained professional. That's when I met Fawn. She immediately dissected my problem into aspects I could tackle individually. She dispelled some previously crippling fears and notions that held me back but I could never manage to express with anyone. She gave me breathing and projection exercises and the immediate feedback that I definitely needed. She even diagnosed a specific lisp that I would never have thought possible to change. We eventually got rid of it and the confidence I have gained in my speech is overwhelming. I came in quiet and seeking answers. I left confident, with a sense of direction, and a new mentor and friend. Fawn is effective, charming, and hilarious. I would recommend her to anyone who is seeking answers and needs a coach for improvement, no matter the area."

"I was recently in a play titled “Why Does It Hurt So Bad?” with Tamika as an Artist Development teacher. She was extremely helpful when it came to knowing how to project your voice, emoting and becoming the character that you are portraying. Tamika was very professional and she always helped wherever she could. Tamika always gave great advice and how you can improve your craft as an actor. Everyone in the play took note of what Tamika was saying and applied it in the next rehearsal, getting better and better every time. This is the reason why the play was so successful. I will definitely keep in contact with her to keep perfecting my craft and to see if there’s a way that I can take acting lessons from her. Thank you so much Tamika. You’re AWESOME and so TALENTED!"
