MissG is awesome and highly recommend her. She is instructing my daughter and I for her sweet 16 father/daughter dance. She gave us great ideas for moves and great instruction on how to count and move to the music. I was worried about this dance coming together and definitely could not done it without her! We are set to do this dance in another 2 weeks and now feel confident about doing this.

I signed up for singing lesson on a whim. Sara was great; very patience and knowledgeable. Please take in consideration, I have no music or instrument background so we worked on breathing and body position which she made fun then at the end of each lesson we sang a song or two. After each lesson, I left with new knowledge and one or two thing to work on that week. For a spur of a moment decision, I obtain a new understanding of music, singing, and met a wonderful creative lady. Good Experience all around.

About Jamila
Belly dancing since 2004 has been a joy and a privilege to Jamila. Trained in traditional and modern Egyptian styles as well as Lebanese, American Cabaret, Greek and Turkish, Jamila has a unique and beautiful approach to this ancient art form. She applies her amalgamation to traditional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean music in addition to blues, rock and metal genres.

Initially learning from Layla Lee & Rada Burns in Chicago, Jamila's passion for music and the dance has led her to travel and train all over the country. She's been honored with instruction from many belly-dance greats like Dina of Egypt, Zahra Zuhair, Ansuya, Suhaila Salimpour, Amanda Rose, Sadie Marquardt and many others. In 2010, she became certified in Ansuya's Cabaret style and currently undertakes a mentorship with Zahra Zuhair.

Specializing in improvisation, Jamila
has many times been featured with local Indiana bands like Black Stone Ritual, Il Troubadore and the East-West Music Group. She's also shared the same stage with the Yuval Ron Ensemble, Unida, YOB & The Earthlings.

In recent years, Jamila's featured her choreographed pieces with the Bellydance Superstars Club Bellydance, The Carmel International Arts Festival and benefits for Meals on Wheels and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

Currently you can find Jamila teaching at her studio near downtown Indianapolis and performing at various restaurants, fairs, festivals, weddings and more all over the metro Indianapolis area. She gives lectures at colleges, workshops for dance organizations and presentations at trade shows.

For Jamila, the greatest satisfaction comes from teaching a wide-range of students from many age brackets, genders and walks of life. Her favorite thing is how all students come as a seed and watching them bloom into beautiful trees and flowers as they learn to develop movements and grow with grace; this is a priceless reward.

An Actor's Life: Your Career Path to New York Shows
If you're an aspiring Broadway performer, the steps you take during high school play a significant role in your success on the stages of New York shows in the future. Sure, you sometimes hear stories of people who book amazing lead roles in shows after a single audition, but that’s not a realistic view of how it all happens - for most actors, at least. Ask any working Broadway performer – New York is not a city that hands you success simply because you’ve just moved there. Hard work, discipline,

I usually start classes or lessons by asking my new students or clients what they think these tools might be. Sometimes, the answer is very literal ("Script!"), and other times abstract ("Passion!"). None of these is a wrong answer. Being an actor or artist is subjective and everyone's process is different and valid. But th
