She is a genuinely nice person and takes the time to learn the way that you learn so that she can teach you in a manner best suited to the way you learn. I had so much fun in my first few lessons with Stephanie leading up to a trip where I wanted to be able to do some swing dancing with friends. On the first day I briefly outlined my objectives with her and over the next handful of lessons we achieved them all. But Bill has a hard time being specific, if I didn't ask him specific question that he just resort into generic statement,
From time to time, he even has this passive aggressive attitude. I signed up to improve my speech and accent because I know I need to work on it. I don't know why he sometimes need to emphasis on that almost to the point of gaslighting but hey maybe he just had a couple of bad days.
There are four type of knowledge:
the knowledge that you know you know,
the knowledge that you know that you don't know,
the knowledge that you don't know that you know,
the knowledge that you don't know that you don't know.
If I know what I don't know then I wouldn't need to sign up for a class, I would just work on it.
People sign up for classes to move the fourth and third category into the first and second, so here is the lesson every instructor in every subjects should probably know.
