James Walsh has helped me in more ways than can I could even imagine in the past 6 months I have trained with him. His challenges and ideas lit a creative spark in my mind, helping me express myself through playing the role of a character nicely (absolutely loving the accent practice i am being taught in). He has also provided a very therapeutic healing for my mental health, helping me to be more spontaneous and witty, instead of the wooden and mechanical person I once was.
James has a ridiculous amount of connections, resources and ideas at his hands, and gladly offers him to me to help me in my Method Acting. For those looking for a career in Acting, Comedy, or Film, James is definitely your man for opening several doors.
Throughout the months, he has been very supportive and encouraging, oftentimes doing welfare checkups on me throughout the week and showing me new ideas and techniques in film, acting and spontaneity. He demonstrates patience with learning curves, and gives good assignments to work on through the week for the next time you meet up. He also is understanding if you cannot make an appointment.
In terms of the actual classes, they are phenomenal. Many classes, when deliberately practicing, feel more like an actual In-the-moment conversation rather than a mechanical " Do this than that" layout. He gives a lot of good and fair feedback for improvement at the end of the class, and following the advice never failed to be right. Be prepared for time to fly, though, as 45 minutes will feel like 10, especially if you are REALLY in character and going back and forth with him on random topics, which almost make you feel like you have a hidden persona lol.
All in all, James is very experienced and skilled in teaching students of all walks of life, from aspiring actors/actresses to would be filmmakers to people simply looking to learn life skills that are invaluable to life, career, relationships and even mental health! There is something for all in this coach's teachings, provided you are wiling to put in the work. Phenomenal teacher and an all around great person!

Molly was the absolute best and I would recommend her to everyone!! She was such a blast to work with and she gave me so many amazing tips and workouts to practice for my speaking! My coworkers noticed a big difference!
I do workout/dance at the gym 3-4 nights a week, and go out dancing every weekend. I am very active and would love to teach any individuals anything that I've learned along the way.
I can help with most computer problems, from software to hardware and i love office products. I use them, with vba to make quizzes which i can share with you, and/or teach you how to make them yourself.
What a super teacher! We stayed on task and worked hard which is how I used to teach. I am ready for the next lesson, he really is a great teacher, he made it fun but still a workout, I learned so much!

BIO: Elena started her musical studies at age 4, singing with the "New York City Opera Children Chorus". She studied at Manhattan School of Music. She studied in Hunter College and Queens College of the City University of New York and the Bejar Conservatory in Salamanca, Spain. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and throughout Europe as a soloist. She had sung Mimi in La Boheme, High Priestess in Aida, Ines in Il Trovatore, in addition to singing other operas including Othello, Carmen, Mephistopheles, The Magic Flute, L'Italiana in Algeri, Le Nozze di Figaro. She has participated in the Master Classes of Alfredo Kraus and Monserrat Caballé and David Jones. I have always been an actor first, it is the craft and discipline in which I hold my advanced degrees; it is my first and eternal love. There really isn't much more one could add to such a claim. near LA, we first started working with Tyler because he was local. He is fantastic! My son just loves him, and they connect really well. When he had an audition for a lead part in a movie, Tyler took the time outside of our normal schedule for some one on one time at the last minute. He is always friendly, professional, and always flexible with our schedule. My son did not get that part, but he auditioned for a tv pilot a few weeks later. He didn't get the part he auditioned for, but he made such an impression on the director, they actually created a special rolel for just for him. We owe some of this to Tyler, he really knows how to bring out the best in your kid. Also, his fees are reasonable. You won't be disappointed!"
Method acting requires you to fully embrace your transformation into your character. To create an authentic experience for your audience, you need to lose the speech inflections, facial expressions, and physical mannerisms that wouldn't make sense. For example, when an actor plays a depressed man, his cynical speech won't be convincing if he delivers it with perfect, confident posture.
