Acting class was so much fun! I wanted to try something different to challenge myself & my friends recommended I try an acting class because I’m so “extra” as they put it. Well I finally got up the nerve to try a class & J was so helpful & worked with me to feel comfortable. He never made me feel like I couldn’t do it, plus it was so fun that I can’t wait to try another class. If you are a beginner like myself than he is the perfect instructor for you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my class with J. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little apprehensive at first but by the time I finished the session I was at ease. He broke things down to where I could understand being a novice, and made me feel like I belonged! I highly recommend J to anyone who wants to really learn about the true art of Acting!!

Dance is an amazing gift used to express how we feel and what we believe. It tells a story, oftentimes our own. I believe in teaching the art of how to freely express yourself through telling a story with every move. Whether you are a trained dancer or a beginner, you have the right to express yourself through creative movement and I can help you with that.

About Tomecia

I am a lover of dance. I believe dance builds confidence, strength, courage and discipline. I have danced all my life and for the past 18 years have had the privilege of leading two dance ministries. One for 7 years and the other for the past 11 years. I believe dance is one of our greatest forms

I have been impacted by Minister Tomecia in such a little time. New to the dance ministry as a whole she introduced flags to me and I have since been invited to minister at several different events and Engagements paid and unpaid and for that I am truly grateful. Not to mention time I call with questions and she gives me unbiased answers to help me grow along the way. Definitely a jewel in my eyes. I call her my dance mom honestly😁

I love working with Stephanie. She teaches so that I can learn how good singing feels and I can take that home and apply it to other material on my own. She’s great at teaching both classical and musical theatre styles. After two and a half years with her, I’m still learning and growing under her tutelage.

Mrs. Jones is a wonderful voice teacher! She is a brilliant educator with an incredible knack of guiding students to achieve their full potential! She is a very welcoming spirit, who is kind and compassionate, funny, encouraging, and organized.

Worth Every Second

I have been an active student with Stephanie J. for almost 6 years, and I can say without a doubt that she is one of the best in the area! She has taken a Musical Theatre nerd, and not only enhanced his range through classical and aria-based training, but has also enhanced his vocal styles! I owe a lot to this amazing teacher! If you want to be pushed and stretched in your vocal ability, then you have picked the right teacher. Trust me your time will not be wasted!

5 Movie Monologues for Men to Practice Your Skills

Good monologues are hard to find. They are even harder to find when we are talking about film. Film is a very fast moving medium. We, as an audience, have been trained to expect to see something new every few seconds. Live theatre, however, has enjoyed a long and enriching relationship with the sustained attention of the monologue. Here, we are just going to focus on movie monologues for men, and how they help the actor hone their skills. First, we need to define the thing we are looking …

5 Acting Warm Ups & Games to do Before an Audition

Being in the entertainment industry is not much different from being in the sports world. In addition to some natural talent and interest, a huge overlap with both industries is the time spent honing your craft. Of course regular practice is a necessary evil, but come race or audition day, our minds and bodies still need to be prepared for what’s about to happen. Just as we see athletes spending time stretching and warming up before a performance, it’s mandatory that actors warm up before …

Top 5 Wildest Method Acting Techniques in Hollywood History

If you've ever watched an actor disappear into their role, shedding genuine tears or adopting mannerisms that aren't their own, then you've seen method acting techniques in action. Most people think of this approach as "becoming a character," and some actors do take that literally, pretending to actually be the person they're playing.  Method acting is taught everywhere from Hollywood to Broadway. But a few notable actors are well-known for taking it to award-winning extremes, making enormous …
