The teacher is very nice to the student, helps the student in different ways, and explains problem so the student understands their mistake.
Charley
Meagan is very flexible and is a great teacher. She doesn't make the student feel self-conscious about answering wrong, She gently asks the student to explain how they came up with the answer and allows them to correct themselves. If the student doesn't realize their error during the explanation, she explains to the student wherein the equation they made an error. She also repeats the problem areas with the student until they have a full understanding of the process.

I sought Meagan out after my daughter came home with a failing grade in Algebra I. I am very happy with my selection, she is the perfect fit for my daughter. She is very flexible and I appreciate that she doesn't make my daughter feel like her lack of understanding of the subject matter makes her inadequate. I am going to continue hiring Meagan for the duration of the school year, my daughter really likes her and is learning far more than she is from her regular classroom environment.

She's great!

Speech lessons are beneficial for many reasons. Perhaps you are getting ready for an interview, or your voice is frequently hoarse, maybe you desire your voice to sound different or perhaps you are a voice over artist looking to add a dialect or wanting to work on inflections. Speaking voice lessons give techniques on how to properly use the voice in a healthy way on a daily basis. If you are interested in the anatomy of the voice, I am more than happy to teach you that as well.

About Lauren

Lauren graduated from McNally Smith College of Music magna cum laude in 2011 with a bachelors in vocal performance. She played everywhere from Duluth. Minnesota to Lima, Peru: sharing the stage with artists as diverse as Andres Prado and Judi Donaghy. In addition to her McNally Smith Degree, Lauren

Want to learn the basics of improv and see how it improves your acting skills? Want to work on your audition material and make specific and authentic choices? Then look no further! I am a working actress so I understand that if we don't feel comfortable and free in our bodies and with the text/circumstance of the scene, then the work isn't fun to do or watch. Through a combination of improv exercises and coaching techniques, you will leave our session feeling confident and ready to play. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Hope to work with you!

Ashley is the best! She was so encouraging and enthusiastic in our first alto saxophone lesson! With no prior knowledge of woodwinds, I was playing tunes by the end of an hour. She was so friendly and helpful as she taught me how to assemble and care for the instrument, and gently reminded me to correct my posture and keep my fingers on the keys. If you're looking for a sax teacher at any level, I can't recommend Ashley highly enough!

Samantha B.
Ashley was positive and encouraging in my first lesson. She took the time to review all parts of the instrument, how to hold it, clean it, etc., and answered all my questions. She had me adjust in different ways to make sound to get me to the right starting place. I'm looking forward to lots more learning!

"I always had a problem with public speaking. I don't articulate words well and don't have any volume. I'm shy and uncomfortable in front of people. Nicholas worked on vocal lessons and how to enunciate and project. We also did breathing exercises and where to place the tongue with words. I improved my diction and with that, got more confidence in speaking in front of people, which is important in my job. Highly Recommend."

She is definitely a 5 star person. I wish that I got to hear hear sing one of her favorite songs. My lessons focused on speaking voice."

"Thank you Joe, for having such a HUGE role in my 7 year old daughter's winning 1st place for her two person scene 2 years in a row and for adding 1st place for her commercial and for her placing for best monologue to the list of successes. I see your instruction all over her phenomenal job and it is no wonder the casting director that judged her 2 person scene immediately impromptu auditioned her for a lead role in a movie! YOU ROCK JOE! You take acting and your instruction so seriously! AMAZED and THANKFUL that you're her coach!!"
