About Fawn
"Make one stop at the music shop!"
Fawn is not your typical music coach. As a recent Billboard hit recording artist & coaching 21 years, Fawn immediately gets to your goals & together you reach them. What you learn becomes part of you & that's the key to success. Whether you're beginner, advanced, special needs, have a short term issue, long term issue or even damaged vocal chords, whatever your situation, Fawn can handle it all successfully :) Not just in voice, but also in any difficult musical area including songwriting, performance, recording, piano & more.

In Los Angeles, Fawn is the music and entertainment industry's coach known as the one who "gets the job done." Clients have included Grammy and Oscar winners as well as vocalists and actors from The Voice, American Idol, Disney, America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon, X-Factor an
d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. MTV and several others. Fawn has also sung, written and played in many different styles from Jazz/Blues to Classical to Pop to children's to Opera.

Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. She has also worked with Kevin Costner, Alexandra Paul, David Marshall Grant, Florence Henderson, Jay Leno, Hulk Hogan, Darryl Hannah, Tommy Lee, Martin Lawrence, Magic Johnson, Pamela Anderson, Jermaine Dupri, Rae Dawn Chong, Eva Longoria, Joan Rivers, Erik Estrada, John Amos, and others appearing with them in film, TV and benefits for worthy causes.

Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. The youngest person she has ever taught was 3 years old and blind. The oldest person she has ever taught so far taught was 89 years old, after suffering a stroke. She was able to help her get her voice back within 20 minutes of her first lesson. Fawn also does vocal rehabilitation, vocal therapy, and music therapy. She has worked with special needs children with Downs Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pit Hopkins Disease and more. As far as being a songwriter, Fawn generally writes words and music at the same time but she has also written lyrics and music separately, as well as composed instrumental pieces. Fawn trained with Pat Pattison and Grammy winning Lyricist Marty Panzer in lyric writing and she is a master at producing, recording and editing vocals, and is happy to help you with your recording projects, as she owns Terrace Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA.

Fawn has a clever way of teaching each student the same important basics and more but as individuals. As she says, she "teaches to the personality." Whatever it is she does, it works great! From beginners to the big shots, she teaches all levels! Before you know it, you've shot all the way up to the big stuff in note reading without much effort! It's like BAM!! You're sight reading like nobody's business! It's truly incredible. The results Fawn get are amazing.

About Tahira
Tahira's path as a dancer became clear at a very young age. After being exposed to ballet by a neighbor was all it took, literally after one lesson a life time of dance was pursued.

Much of Tahira's training is accredited to her years spent at Le Petite Danseuse, Debbie Allen and The Dance Arts Academy. Traveling to Europe and South America to study dance has also played an intricate role in the exposure and passion of dance.

Tahira continues to infuse her passion and love of dance, by sharing this beautiful expression with young women in her community. Whether teaching classes, mentoring dancers or volunteering at inner city schools and shelters the power of dance is being invoked.

Tahira has ensured her love of dance through education with certifications in Performance Enhancement Specialist, Personal Training and Wellness
Coaching, by The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Being fluent in several languages, with an emphasis on French, allows for ballet classes to be taught in a professional manner.

Combining my skills, experience and natural passion for dance allows me to positively mentor others that share this passion.

My daughter has been under the instruction of Ms Tahira Ali for about 4 years now. She has learned so much and she had taught her not only the the movement of ballet but the history behind it. My daughter, Daija continues to grow in every aspect of this art and has become so much more confident in herself under Ms Tahira’s instruction. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher, not only in dance but in life lessons.

I am an inspiring actress that landed an awsome role in a upcoming Life Time movie. As you can imagine i was beyond excited. The role was a visceral look inside the life of an inspiring ballerina. I found so many simularities between myself and this character. However, the last ballet class i took i was about 5 or 6 years old.
Tahira was recomemded to me by another actress that had taken her barre class. Upon our first introduction i felt like we we're good friends, i felt totally comfotable and at ease. I was able to share all of my concerns and strengths. We started off with private lesson and finally i felt comfortable in group class.
Needless to say when production called and filming started " I KILLED IT"😉
I would highly recommend Tahira for ballet performance enhancement, private and group lessons.

Tahira is quite simply one of the most extraordinary educators I have ever met. Her warmth, skill, grace, talent and love of children is remarkable. My 6-year-old daughter attends her mixed-age dance class on Saturdays and it is the most enriching extra-curricular activity she's ever had. Somehow, Tahira is able to attune to the needs of every child in the class, from the shy 4-year-old to the middle-schooler en pointe. She has a masterful knowledge not only of dance and teaching, but of community-building. Her classes feel like family. The big girls mentor and take care of the little ones and the "sister circles" at the end of class bring tears to my eyes. Tahira's method of teaching builds character and compassion, as well as skill. She is a model of grace and goodness and exactly the type of teacher you want in your child's life.

About ELENA
Hello!
Music is my life and my biggest passion. I've been a working musician and a teacher for several years and there's nothing more rewarding than sharing all I've learned so far with my students, to nurture their goals and aspirations and to make them aware of the great instrument they already possess. Every year I plan and host two wonderful recitals for my students, so that they can experience and share their progress with family and friends.

Here's more about me and my education:
I was born and raised in Italy and have been singing since I was a child but started a formal training during my teenage years with a private coach. During college, while studying Psychology at the University of Florence, I attended 2 different private music schools in Florence and Bologna, since it was not possible at the time to study music in Colleg
e. There I kept studying vocal technique, solfege, classical guitar and music harmony.
I moved to LA 11 years ago and attended Musician's Institute earning a diploma in Vocal Studies and Vocal Performance and then I attended a Composition & Songwriting Program at UCLA for 2 years. I refined my vocal technique studying at Berkley College of Music for a summertime in a special program for Jazz Vocalists and I have been an Alexander Technique's student for now 10+ years.
I am a performing artist, I sing and teach privately for a living and, on the side, I help an Opera Touring company promote their tours. I have performed all over the country in some beautiful venues such as the Getty Center and Pantages Theater to name a few. Guitar is my second instrument but I accompany students with my piano during vocal exercises. My personal style of singing is modern, not operatic, I love many kinds of music but especially pop, jazz, and musical theater.

***Lessons Details***

**Singing: Teaching Adults**
There are two sides of singing that I like to work on with my students.
The first is vocal technique, which is first and foremost the study of how to use our instrument, our whole body, in the best and most useful way to avoid strain ad create beautiful sounds. I believe that when we relax and use the right posture, meaning the most natural one, then our bodies and our breathing mechanisms act as they are supposed to, and singing magically happens at its best. When we learn to use our bodies without strain, the right "singing" muscles are automatically engaged and exercised and we feel at ease. So I try to encourage a non-forceful way to use diaphragmatic breathing, which I have learned by studying Alexander Technique, which is a technique that teaches people how to stop using unnecessary levels of muscular and mental tension during any activity, especially during an artistic performance of any kind.
I try to notice bad singing habits the student may have formed throughout his/her life, (hopefully none!), and gently help them correct them. The vocal exercises I use are drawn from the Bel Canto tradition, a classical tradition, but I mix them with more modern vocal exercises to develop popular techniques like "belting" for example.
The second side of singing is simply to pay attention to song interpretation, to convey the message we would like to convey. I encourage the student to choose songs to work on they truly love, and I welcome any style of music. I give the students vocal exercises CDs to help them practice at home.

**Singing: Teaching Children**
What I described above is also true for teaching children, however I like to teach them "by ear" with simple vocal exercises and vocal games at the beginning of the lesson and try to ease them into the sound they naturally make. I like to create a positive environment in which the student can feel successful about even small achievements, whether it is standing in a relaxed way or having practiced the beginning of an exercise or part of a song. To help the student practice at home and keep the motivation alive without feeling overwhelmed I record each lesson (or let them record it) and give them the accompaniment for the song of their choice so they can have fun at home.

*** GUITAR ***
I teach young children using fun songs, games and classical guitar technique. I also teach adults and specialize in contemporary guitar. I welcome many styles of music, pop, rock as well as folk genres of Latin America. I emphasize good posture, tone and musicality, and always a high level of enjoyment with the process!

*** RECITALS ***
I plan and host 2 wonderful Recitals a year, one in January and one in June. I encourage all my students to participate, no matter how they may feel about their instrument level and preparation. Working towards a performance is one of the most effective ways to solidify your ever growing skill!

*** Studio Equipment ***
For students who come to my home studio, there is private guest parking right outside my building, in a gated complex of buildings and in a safe neighborhood just north of the 101. My studio is conveniently located just a few blocks from the freeway entrance. I have a comfortable sofa for parents and siblings to attend the lessons and a keyboard to use for accompaniment. Also, I periodically offer my students the chance to record one song in my studio, equipped with nice microphones and a professional recording system.

*** Travel Equipment ***
For singing lessons I bring my small and light master-keyboard and laptop or I can use the student piano/keyboard. For children's lesson I ask my students to bring a notebook to keep track of practice assignments.

*** Specialties ***
Music theory and Songwriting. Stage performance and how to feel comfortable on stage. Additionally I teach vocal jazz improvisation, Broadway singing and Italian song repertoire.

About Bernadette
Hello! My name is Bernadette! I recently graduated from Regent University with my Master of Fine Arts in Acting with a Concentration in Directing. I received my B.A. in Psychology from George Mason University which I have found has been a very complimentary degree with acting.

In 2012, I taught an acting/filmmaking class at Prude Ranch Summer Camp in Fort Davis, Texas. In 2013, I taught at a very prestigious filmmaking camp at Imagination Stage in Bethesda, Maryland. I taught the children everything from producing, script writing, acting, camera operating, sound mixing, editing with Final Cut Pro X software, and I was their assistant teacher for their Animation camp as well.

I have interned for three production companies; Mirandum Pictures in Front Royal, Virginia, Michael Copon Studios in Norfolk, Virginia and at Parroco Producti
on Group, Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia. If you are not familiar with Michael Copon Studios, the CEO Michael Copon is best known for his portrayal of the blue power ranger in the early 2000's.

I have extensive amount of training in film acting. Film acting is my sweet spot, however, aside from it I am trained in improv, stand up, theatre, teleprompter work, hosting, commercials, print modeling, sketch comedy, stage combat, etc.

My teaching style is simple, I will treat each student as an individual. No one person is the same, so therefore, I will hone in on what your goals and expectations are. I will help you achieve those goals and we will find an acting method that best suits you. There are so many different ways to approach auditioning, for example. The most important thing, I feel, is to find what works best for you, expound on that and always work towards bringing your authentic self to the table. That is what will ultimately enrichen your acting career the most and your personal life as well. Acting is one of those tools that you can incorporate into just about anything. I love it and I love what I do so, thank you for checking out my page and I hope to hear from you!

Hi there! I'm Ricky - I'm a professional actor and a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. I have my BFA in Acting from Cal State Fullerton where I studied under Russian master acting teacher Svetlana Efremova. I am trained in Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Chekhov, Meisner and Shakespeare.

I find that so many actors spend too much time revolving their life around acting they forget that acting revolves around life.
I believe that the most interesting thing in this industry is YOU. Who are YOU? There is no one else in this profession with your experience, your depth and your talent. You are unique. So much of what we know about acting stems from personal experience and individual truth. I believe that unlocking your potential through self discovery is the most efficient way to grow as an actor. You can learn every technique there is
, but how you use it as an individual is what matters. That is what makes people sit up in their seats. They know the techniques, but they don't know you.

I've learned this over the years attending open calls 3-5 times a week and submitting self tapes too many times to count. I've had the pleasure of frequently working in regional theatre including: South Coast Repertory, MainStreet Theatre Company, Coeurage Theatre Company and Rogue Artists Ensemble. I'm still learning from day to day. The education of this profession never ends and it never should. There is always more to discover and there is always more room to grow. That is what makes this industry so exciting and fulfilling, despite the many obstacles that will stand in your way.

Join me on the journey and lets discover what makes you unique!

I have over ten years of stage and screen acting experience. Not only do I have BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University, but I also studied at The Atlantic Theater Company and New York University. Unlike a lot of other acting teachers, I am also a writer. I have written and directed a feature film, a webseries, and authored two produced plays (and one musical!). I truly know the business inside and out.

My second career as a writer lends me a unique perspective in developing a performance: I understand the writing process. When it comes to script analysis, we can work smart, not hard. By asking a few simple questions about what the writer's intentions were when crafting a character and a scene, we can lay down a baseline and discover moments from there. I don't believe you need pages and pages of script analysis to make a performa
nce great, just a curious and open mind.

I'd love to help you refine your material, whether it be for an audition or just to hone your craft. If you're in need of a college audition coach, I am very well-versed in that area. I know how hard and confusing it can be, and I'm here to help! I mostly work with kids and teens, but if you're an adult who is just starting out, that's great too! Come one, come all.

I love to work in a relaxed environment with no pressure. Acting can sometimes get intense, but I always reign it in so nothing gets out of control. I believe that people do their best work when they're comfortable, open, and not scared of judgement. I assure you that I can provide an environment that will foster all of those elements.

Feel free to send me a message and ask me any questions you may have!

About Maria
I enjoy teaching ladies 13 and up how to look and feel their best, which will then help with confidence.
I was raised in a home where respect, manners and etiquette were very important.
As a teen I did some runway modeling in California and New York.
I am a Cosmetologist of 26 years, was a hair color instructor for Wella and owned a salon for 12 years.
I love to teach skin care and make-up as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant and I am a Black Belt in Taekwondo
My greatest accomplishment was raising and strong, confident and independent daughter who makes me proud daily.

My students will enjoy learning:
*Poise through runway modeling
*Speaking with confidence through spokes modeling training
*Etiquette through fun life scenarios
*Caring for your hair Q&A
*Caring for your skin with an instructional facial with before and af
ter selfies
*How to look polished with quick and easy make-up application
*Basic self defense with easy to learn break away techniques.
This class takes 90-120 minutes and is alot of fun with 2-4 ladies. I will come to you or we can meet at my Studio in Palmdale, Ca. Young ladies under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
I am excitedly looking forward to meeting you and helping you be your best self!
