Amelia was great. She provided excellent instruction, adapted to my style of learning and gave me a targeted plan to help me improve my acting skills throughout the course of my lessons. As a beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for my introduction to the world of acting.

Teaching came to me through the recommendations of my own acting teachers. When I followed their advice I found that I could really connect and communicate with my students with the same clarity and communication that I had with other actors. I found that I could really assess and convey to them what they needed to really crystallize both their experience and delivery of a given character and/ or scene, and in such a way that they REALLY enjoy the process! Together we take them on a journey of enhanced self-discovery and delivery. My lifetime in the performing arts, close to 20 years of professional acting (on both coasts), years of intensive study with some of the true greats (Gary Austin, Dave Razowsky, Barbara Niven, Terry Schreiber, Wenndy Mackenzie, Jeffrey Sweet, Carol Fox Prescott, and others), and experience directing, casting, and producing in Los Angeles all inform the process we engage. I'm proud to say that many of my students have exclaimed that my class was the best, or ...

As an acting coach/teacher, Rob is warm, intuitive, and very giving - as an actor himself, he is talented, surprising, and inventive; it is such a joy to watch him take these wonderful gifts and translate them back and forth between the two arenas. He has much to share as an instructor - highly recommended!

I took dance lessons from Gigi with a focus on self expression and working through issues that I was holding onto on any particular day. I am 60+ years old and never danced before. Where my typical perspective of myself standing in front of a mirror is not positive, I somehow was transformed into seeing beauty. Gigi is a beautiful person, very patient , non judging. Her goal was for me to meet my goal, even when it changed from week to week. Sometimes we worked on dance technique, other times using movement to work through feelings. I loved it.

"Mushir is an incredible magician! My family had the pleasure of experiencing his "magical" touch aboard a Carnival cruise several years ago. We kept calling him to our table at every opportunity to try to figure out his secrets. We never did! He is so good at what he does! This evening, out of the clear blue, my daughter and I started reminiscing about the cruise we took and the unforgettable magic performances Mushir provided. I googled his name and found him here! It's like MAGIC we found him! I hope you're doing well Mushir! The magic trick you did with your necktie still blows our minds!"

"I came to Jordan needing help with extreme deadlines. I was auditioning for a musical theater degree with a large number of colleges and while I had a good amount of experience singing and acting, I was practically new to dance. Online, she was able to help me prepare for audition pre-screens, learn dance basics rapidly, and feel less anxiety about dance auditions. As a result, I was able to receive many MT acceptances and get into my dream school. Thank you Jordan for being patient with me and helping me learn at my own pace while moving fast enough to meet my goals. You’re the best!"

She was brilliant. We had her do an encore performance in our festival. We had Christine teach her master class workshop on improv for humor health, as I would call it... and I am still using her techniques with my students. "There. Is. NO. ONE. More. Passionate... This guy is a freaking genius! My son and I both take lessons from him. I feel bad that I hadn't posted a review earlier. Tyler's education history is extensive and so much fun to hear about. He was taught by Academy Award Winners, International Experts, and students of the Acting Masters: Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, and even Lee Strasberg! I am so stoked to continue working with him, and I would recommend him to any one looking for a talented, passionate, knowledgeable, dedicated, patient and driven teacher. Because he is all of those things and much more.

The best part, (aside from the art)? His PRICES. I randomly asked him one day why he charged to little, especially because his agent takes a good chunk of it and he has an assistant to pay. He told me something alongg the lines of: "If I could afford to teach for free, I would. Seeing the development in the ability and heart of each student is is pay enough. I just gotta pay the bills so I can continue to even do this." Like, okay... He lives and breathes this. On average, he told me, he spends about 3-6 hours a day, just studying. He also performs and teaches on a regular basis. Like, how... Anyway, I am beyond blessed to have the chance to work with this kid. He's a great person with a huge heart and a very open mind. Anything you want to improve on as an artist, he'll make it happen!"

3 Drama Games for Learning Method Acting

Method acting requires you to fully embrace your transformation into your character. To create an authentic experience for your audience, you need to lose the speech inflections, facial expressions, and physical mannerisms that wouldn't make sense. For example, when an actor plays a depressed man, his cynical speech won't be convincing if he delivers it with perfect, confident posture. When Hollywood stars stay in character between takes, or improv comedians wear disguises to interact with un …
