Want to learn to dance flamenco, sing or play palmas?
Experienced teacher and performer of 15 years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate and advance flamenco students. All ages welcome
Interested in learning to do your own solo? I will help you build a solid foundation and technique while tailoring to your personal tastes and goals.
I had studied in spain and learned how to teach authentic flamenco without having to be from spain to understand it. I make the learning experience fun, and exciting. I also sing flamenco witch it is very important element, so I teach how the dance and the song go hand in hand with each other.

I founded my own theater company 21 years ago and have been teaching and directing actors from ages 6-80 over more than 65 productions. I am an engaging and deeply knowledgeable theater professional who will guide you to get the most out of every speech you want to speak or role you want to play. I can work with you on audition pieces for schools, college or Broadway, as well as just help round out your scene work when you're already in the middle of a rehearsal process. I have quick tips and fixes for any scenario and my approach is personal, and centered on what you want to get out of your experience and what you are bringing to the table in terms of creating a character. My specialty is Shakespeare and I can help you unravel all those imbedded text clues. Let's get started!

Diana is a skilled and knowledgeable acting teacher. She helped my shy son find his voice and become the confident young man he is today. Personally, Diana helped me as an adult to overcome stage fright. Once I told Diana of my issue, she encouraged me to join one of her productions, and she nurtured me through the whole experience. Her skillful techniques and her caring, nurturing nature is a perfect combination for an amazing acting coach.
Carol
My daughter has worked with Diana in CST for 8 years. It is truly remarkable what she does for these kids, and what she gets out of them. By providing a safe space where they can learn, question, and have fun with the material, they become comfortable performing, and sharing their gifts with the public. Not only that, but they are learning Shakespeare, which has huge effect on their understanding of literature and global history. Diana makes all this FUN for the kids. They are there because they want to be, and from the youngest to the oldest they put their all into their performances while always supporting each other.
Olga
Diana’s teaching style must be a lot of fun, because my son has been studying acting with her for more than 3 years! He is always looking forward to the next learning / practice session!

My 6yr old just took his first lesson and is hooked. Gigi is very sweet and stirred up an excitement in him. My son definitely liked the "idea" of learning the piano but is now confidant and actually writing his first song! Who knew, 5 notes and you can become a composer! BRAVO GIGI:)

I access speaking through movement and resonance. We discover the way your body moves freely, opening up the breath and getting it to flow freely. Then we discover how to access your resonance with that freely flowing breath. Singing and speaking comes easily from there. Lessons with me are a combination of yoga class, anatomy lesson, and actually making sound. I find that if we see our voices as another part of the body that we're training, we see that speaking is a movement technique, and looking at it that way actually gives us the freedom to make art with it.

About Gwendolyn

I'm an opera singer with seven years of stage experience in Germany and the US, including top houses like the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Komische Oper Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, and, since moving to the Bay Area, I have worked with Opera San Jose and Lamplighter's Theater. I have a MA in singing fr

Gwendolyn is my first vocal coach. She is helping me to access the power and confidence in my speaking and singing voice. Using full body movement and vocal exercises she opened up a world of singing for me that I never knew before. She has helped me to discover my body as an instrument (crazy right?!). Gwendolyn has a tremendous amount of knowledge on the mechanics of the body, the way sound is made in our bodies and of course music! I am more powerful and confident in my voice than I have ever been. Gwendolyn is amazing!!
Monika
Working with Gwendolyn brought forth several break throughs even after just one session. She intuitively guided me into alignment, and with such efficacy & ease, my connection to body and breath continues to deepen now, months later. The work I've done on my own or with other teachers came to a (an aligned, you could say) clarity while working with this gifted teacher - definitely recommend!

Gwendolyn is the best! I loved her yogalign class. She’s so warm and open and made me feel really comfortable just being myself and trying new things.

The Powerful Secret to Great Emotional Acting

The best actors know that part of the process involves truly understanding your character's motivation and inner thoughts.
