I’m about 5 or 6 lessons deep with Shauna and as a lifelong singer, she’s already helped immensely with correcting some bad habits I never realized I had — which is making for better performance with less effort! Highly recommended teacher, works at your pace, and the bonus is the breathing exercises she’s led me through each lesson, which completely change my day and are incredibly relaxing. Thanks so much Shauna!!

I am about to enter high school and I wanted to improve my acting skills in preparation for my goal to perform in school plays. I came to Shauna to learn acting techniques and skills to improve my acting abilities. I learned so much from Shauna. I looked forward to my weekly acting lessons and the preparation that went into each lesson. Shauna helped me feel at ease, even when doing something new and challenging. She encouraged me to reach outside my comfort zone and the exercises helped me really understand acting. This has been a great experience and I look forward to working with Shauna in the future!
Jon
Easily the best voice teacher I've had. I took a break for a long time from singing, and so it's really been starting from scratch. Shauna is an incredible teacher in her ability to not only explain the mechanics of singing, but also tie in the mental pieces as well. I've been working with her for a few months by now, and very excited to see what kind of progress is made as we keep working together.

I am a contemporary dancer eager to share how I got into and dug depose into my emotions and expressed that through dance. Through personal expression, improvisation, and unique choreography techniques I am able to bring out each individual dancers personality and help them shine that in their dancing.

About Bridget

I have trained extensively in my styles but feel my most honest self within contemporary dance. I hope to help students achieve proper technique, respect and all around a self enjoyment through the craft. This teacher is amazing.
She is super patient to children, wide range of ages.
It would be hard to handle different ages at the same time, but she is so experienced about this.
She also cares about safety and PT’s attention to learning progress.

I have a M.M. in vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and have extensive vocal training. I teach an open throat technique (appoggio) that allows the singer to sing with freedom, and access their entire range evenly. I also work with students to develop style, interpretation, languages, and acting ability. I have extensive stage experience and teach my students how to have confidence while portraying a character on stage.

"Danielle is the most professional instructor I have worked with in a long time. Going way beyond musical instruction, of which she is a master. She also listened carefully to my needs and custom develops her approach so I could meet my goal. I am an aspiring public speaker and minister in training and she helped me prepare for my Inaugural Sermon. We did warm ups, opened up my vocal range, determined what my rage was. Improved my breathing techniques and gave me plenty to do on my own, not holding back on what it will take to be successful. She even helped me edit my sermons to meet my time requirements once I had gotten hold of her techniques. Danielle maximizes your time to your advantage and is an Awesome Instructor that I would highly recommend!"
