I recently fell in love with dancing, but before that I had little to no experience, so I know what it is like to be a beginner, and to struggle. However, through the blessing of many excellent teachers and mentors, I have progressed rapidly and now have some considerable skill in dancing, so I am able to help people learn and grow at their own rate. I have much experience teaching other subjects (piano, physics, chemistry, and religion), so I know how to teach and how to give constructive advice.

About Jonathan

Hey there! My name's Jonny. I am currently a student at BYU, studying Physics-Astronomy and minoring in ballroom dance. I've grown up with music and love all aspects of it! I love singing, dancing, playing the piano and a few other instruments. I also have a love of languages, reading, videogames,

Learn to dance for your wedding, or just for fun! I teach several styles of Latin and Ballroom dance.
My lessons focus on connecting with your partner and being in tune with his or her movements. A proper connection makes it easy to quickly learn new steps, and to move together as naturally as possible.

For online/video lessons: Connection is a tricky thing to teach online. To learn to lead or follow well, it's important to have tactile feedback in order to feel the relationship between your movement and the results from your partner, and vice versa.

However, with attention to, body mechanics and a focus on alignment and movement technique, online lessons can be a good place to start. Especially if the thought of group classes is intimidating for you, starting with online lessons can help you learn some basics at your own pace (or even help sort out your feet!) before jumping into a group lesson. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

"Barry is a gifted and talented individual who urges his students to step out the box. If you ever receive and opportunity to work with Barry understand you'll be put to a challenge and be expected to challenge yourself. I was able to experience and learn many things in Theater acting, Speaking voice, Singing and Music theory and I could never be more grateful for everything he passed on to me as knowledge ."

"I`ve been taking Shakespearean acting lesson with Michael for a month now and I am very satisfied with him and his method.
Although, I have much of prior acting experience, I was quite unfamiliar with Shakespeare´s plays, lofty language and his metaphors, Michael helped me get to the essence of it very quickly.

He´s a very reliable and effective acting teacher. He`s also punctual, always arrives on time with a plan of what we are hoping to achieve in each lesson. His clear and structured method of teaching enables steady progression.
I definitely recommend him."

"Donnabella is a fantastic teacher! I was really having trouble with being confident when acting as well as not sure where or how to start to learn. Donnabella made it super easy, teaching several approaches and techniques that now use when looking at a script. I also feel a lot more confident not just with acting but overall.

She's made it easy to be confident but still challenging myself with every lesson to put farther out of my comfort zone and grow!"

"Wonderful person and teacher

I’m an actor who has to sing in 1-2 episodes of a new show I'm in, so I started taking voice with fawn because she came highly recommended by another actor I work with. I totally think she is great and I recommend her to any one who wants to improve their speaking or singing voice or become more confident in their performances. She also helps me with my script preparation and think she is a wonderful person and teacher."
