I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. I specialize in teaching both children and adults. I am primarily interested in adults, though, as I have an acting program that is based on a nine-personality profile called the Enneagram (this may be "too much" for children to grasp). That said, I am open to both children and adults, and I have appeared in various stage productions in Austin, Texas, as an actor. My last role was Iago in OTHELLO for which I received a National Falstaff Acting Award nomination for Best Supporting Male. I am also experienced in directing and playwriting for the theatre.
I am a very compassionate and empathic person. I am very dedicated to teaching acting and believe in positive reinforcement with constructive criticism. I would never aim to shame a student. My sole purpose is to make anyone interested in acting an effective actor. I would never push a student

In that time, I have experimented with scoring for dances, musicals, and other performing arts mediums. Film scoring is a challenging but rewarding endeavor, and can make the difference between a good film and a breathtaking one.
We will work on creating a large arsenal of sound palettes that you will use to create and color various scenes. I'll assist you in how to breakdown a story into parts in order to develop themes, and repeating motifs that will create familiarity for the audience. In addition, we will study and analyze the music from some of your favorite films and by your favorite composers in order to understand how to weave music in and out of a film.

This is for choirs and group vocal lessons. My teaching curriculum emphasizes on proper breathing and vocal placement to ensure vocal improvement within a few weeks of lessons. All of these terms may sound scary, but I believe that singing should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in your life and those around you. I teach all genres of music and specialize in audition preparation. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a blast.
