If you are looking for someone to help you get a freash START. Tamika is the one who will get the job done. I hate shopping and I suffered from separation disorder when it came too my clothes.( Which over had for over 20yrs). I'm also very cheap. I had a budget n an idea about change but no direction. TAMIKA helped me to figure out why I couldn't get rid of things, how to prepare for new things, how too get results within your budget. She was very patient with me. Even though I had too practically try on all my clothes n think of reasons too keep them. One thing people are shy about is asking questions, and how people see them. Welcome to the No Judgement zone. I was very comfortable working with Tamika. I've gained not only a new look ,but I gained a sense of self love n worth.

It was a great working together with Tamika on my baby shower...She had wonderful creative ideas. I enjoyed her organization skills when we both went shopping...I really appreciate how passionate she was about getting tasks done...it was so helpful having her around...it was a lot smoother....

This was my first time modeling in a show, and my overall experience was great. Tamika provided great feedback regarding walking, using modeling stance, posing, and how to have fun and interact with the audience. She chose awesome people to walk for her in the show, and we all got along really well. Tamika communicated professionally and respectfully to her models. She also provided all of the clothing for the show which was great because I did not have to come out of pocket to get additional clothing. I would suggest that she get an assistant to help her on the day of the show.

My 16-year old daughter literally screamed when she got in the car after her first lesson. “Dad, Elizabeth is so cool…and such a good singer…and she asked me all the questions about singing that I’ve always wanted to be asked…” and on and on.
Needless to say, we’re very pleased so far.

My son started in-person lessons with Emily in the fall of 2019. We went online with her during the Covid-19 shutdown. The two of them never missed a beat (music pun intended)! I feel like he has continued to show good growth as a horn player. Emily does a wonderful job of teaching proper technique while using my son's own interests to keep him playing. For example, my 12-year-old is a Pokemon fan, so Emily found Pokemon theme sheet music for the horn as well as video game themes. He really loved that and I appreciate that she knows how to connect with kids to help them learn a challenging instrument. I am thankful that my son's band teacher recommended Emily and I, in turn, wholeheartedly recommended her to any future horn players.

Very helpful! Emily even spent a couple of minutes past the scheduled time to help my daughter during her first lesson! Looking forward to the next lesson!

Emily is a fantastic teacher! Our daughter has progressed a tremendous amount during her time with Emily, and she really enjoys the lessons. If you are looking for a french horn teacher, I highly recommend Emily.

I don’t actually teach piano lessons… I teach fully integrated musicianship and community building that involves the piano. I teach a full curriculum that blends not just good playing, but music theory (how music is constructed), history, performance skills, and positive social interaction. Why just “take piano lessons” when you can meet new friends while performing in three recitals per year and maybe even in regional music festivals and honor camps? Why just play simple melodies when you can learn the skills that enable you to take on college-level literature like a boss?

Why settle for ORDINARY when you can be UTTERLY EXTRAORDINARY!!

Dr. Kennedy (Amy) was so phenomenal to work with. I felt so enriched by our conversations and one-on-one work. She encouraged me to dig deeper and push past the surface when analyzing works, an important skill I use every day as a theorist. I always left feeling like I had a good grasp on the content, but even more important I left feeling valued as an academic and human. Highly highly recommend her services!

"We (my grand daughter and I ) did not know what to expect. I did try to prepare by having the room and computer ready and by making notes about what G needed to review. Sara is an excellent teacher and started with a warm up that included feet. G is a full time gymnast and her Achilles had been tight and sore and this was very beneficial. Sara had G doing basic barre work, then she worked on her musicality, progressions and turns. It provided G with the correction and attention that she cannot receive in her regular ballet class and best of all we were able to stay home. It is great for my grand daughter's situation because she does not have to commute one more time in the week. Visually Sara made corrections as G was doing her movement, that is a testament to Sara's professionalism, expertise and training. It also shows that even a technology deficient grandmother can make this work."

Introduction to Voice Acting: Books & Resources to Check Out

When it comes to the performing arts, voice acting attracts some of the most fiercely dedicated enthusiasts, despite the relative anonymity compared to acting on stage or on screen. In the old days, radio dramas were the most common inspiration for aspiring voice actors. Today, it’s animation. The key component of voice acting, even more than secrecy and seclusion, is versatility. An in-demand voice actor may be called upon to provide the pipes for a cartoon rabbit in a kid's show on Friday, …
