I teach Qigong standing and moving meditation as an enhancement to mindfulness and meditation practice, and also as an adjunct to tai chi instruction. Students can learn the Eight Brocades, with variations for different physical ability levels.

I have attended Sensei Morris' Wednesday Dharma talks in DeLand for over a year and it had been a truly enriching experience. His broad knowledge of Buddhism and meditation is effectively conveyed through his superb communication skills. Further, his approach to and understanding of the Dharma as a Westerner offers a bridge to fledgling Buddhists such as myself who get lost in esoteric discourse. If you are looking to expand your mindfulness, he is a marvelous teacher.

I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. Through my practice I have found a healthy way to manage stress and anxiety.

Qigomg is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for health, spirituality, and martial arts training. With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi), translated as "life energy". I teach a personalized form of The Eight Pieces of Brocade, or Baduanjin Qigong.

This class is designed to teach you how to practice movements representing the 5 elements. The 5 elements known as metal, wood, fire, water and earth. The 5 elements represent everything in nature as well as every part of the body. Acupuncture as well as the internal arts are based on the 5 elements. We begin learning Hsing-I and Ba Gua which are 2 of the 3 internal arts. Hsing- I is based on the 5 elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Ba Gua is the art of the circle

Sifi Lloyd Day began training in Martial arts in 1975 under Charlie Hatchet in the Pai Lum system of Kung Fu until 1978. From 1979 until 1981 he trained in Tae Kwan Do under master Hwang. In 1981 he trained in Shotokan Karate with Master Bo until The late 80’s when he began Learning Under the late great Master Kenny Gong (Gong Ack Fei) of NYC who taught the internal systems of Shing-Yi and Ba Gua Zhang. When Sifu Day found this system, everything he had previously studied, all came together. Sifu Day studied under Sifu Gong until his passing in 1996. He continues to study and research the system everyday like it’s his first day. Such is his dedication to the art. He’s a traditionalist and pays much attention to detail. This he feel’s will bring the greatest progress. He’s available for both private and group instruction. (40+yrs experience)
As classmates and friends,I've known Sifu Day for almost 20yrs now and I can say, "Life is art and art is life". He never fails to not find and point out a connection between everyday life and the art we train. His skill is high and his understanding of the Internal is very deep, and for the westerner, this is quite significant, he is a bridge. Teaching through real life association, his students learn the essence of the arts faster through experiential use in everyday life. An Exceptional Teacher

For serious students in the internal arts! He is the man and lives what he teaches. Learn to live well by slowly becoming stronger from the inside out in mind, body and spirit exercises. Build a foundation to take any direction and wherever you decide to go in life.
