I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. Through my practice I have found a healthy way to manage stress and anxiety.

I've been teaching QiGong since 2006.
One of several foundational techniques will be concentrated upon for several or more sessions with practice expected in between. The technique will be decided upon based on the student's needs and intentions. Qi Gong is a life force energy practice that's been used by healers and warriors for over 5000 years in China. Well cultivated and regulated Qi (life force energy) is the mystical power behind the "karate chop" that breaks a brick without harm to the Practitioner, the mystical power of hands on and remote healing, and much more. One is a beginner to Qi Gong for many years. After 10 years of practice one may reach an Intermediate level of experience, understanding, and cultivation of skill. Whether you come for one session or for many you will walk away from each session with a QiGong practice that you can do safely on your own.

I went to Tamara for Yoga to just feel more present and to become more flexible, but I got so much more. A problem with my neck and shoulder I had for so many years that I forgot it was always there , is now gone. It was locked up for years & it's now loose. It gets stiff on occasion, and when it does I now know how to release it. And it works! It took time and practice, but it got there! It's more like a therepeutic, transcendental session of magic wherein I'm learning how to do the magic on my own. So good!

My 10 year Tai Chi journey found Ron after experiencing classes with several different Tai Chi instructors. The consistency of his classes is only one reason I am still studying with Ron. I’ve been training with Master Ron for several months. As a 60 year old physician I’ve had many professors and mentors who have shaped my life. Ron has a spot right up there with the best of them. Great instructors are not just great communicators - it’s a given that they can explain what you need to know. What makes Ron different is he is a great listener - even better he listens with not just his ears but his eyes and his gut. He can tell when you are struggling even if you don’t realize it and gently guides you past it. He rejoices in your victories no matter how small and encourages you in your battles with certain moves. Although he is very gifted he is very humble. He is very Zen. He believes in living in the moment with what you are capable of now but always wants you to strive to improve. If you are looking for an instructor you can’t do better than Master Ron.

Steve really tailored the class to my needs. He throws in wit, humor and insight in his lessons. Steve contacted me before my first lesson to discuss what I expected from the session. I had only scheduled one lesson and wanted to try it out for myself and because I am enrolled in a graduate study program; I needed to try an alternative healing session so I could complete an assignment. I loved that Steve explained the movements and how they affected the internal body, mind, and spirit. He is a wealth of information and I plan on continuing to learn from him.
