Pilates Fitness Fusion is a 60 minute body conditioning class that includes elements of Pilates, Yoga and other strengthening and stretching techniques. It is a well-rounded and diverse training program that is designed to improve the overall conditioning of the body by putting equal emphasis on upper and lower body strength, flexibility, body alignment and balance.
Strengthen your entire core, not just your abs! Become strong and lean, and increase your flexibility. Pilates is a technique that can benefit anyone, and is a great compliment to any form of dance, yoga, and fitness. I can teach specifically "Pilates for Pointe", to enhance your pointe work, and also blend Pilates together with Yoga for a PiYo style class.
I'm a master trainer with over a decade of teaching experience and a former studio owner. Every lesson is different to keep things challenging for your mind and body.
We work within the classical order of exercises (which Joseph Pilates himself used), with some variations to customize the workout for your individual needs. I try to achieve a good balance of correcting form and still getting a good workout. With practice and consistency, students will notice a dramatic improvement in strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as improved posture and endurance.
