Making music and singing should be fun, and everyone deserves to have a great experience with their instrument for the rest of their lives. I take pride in guiding my students in exploring their potential in a safe, creative and non-judgmental environment. My students will learn to develop courage and confidence, grow their ears and appreciation for music in all its forms, and expand their range, power and musical skills.

Your lessons will be tailored according to your goals, dreams and personal motivation. I will offer you resources and show you how to use research as way to become independent when preparing your lessons, auditions and performances. If you are an aspiring guitarist/songwriter, I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar and offer you fun techniques to build those callouses, play rhythmically with confidence and coordinate your playing with your singing.

Whether you are completely inexperienced, naturally gifted, shy, ambitious about a professional career or just looking for an outlet that feels good, I am here to help you. You will not only learn technical skills and many tricks for beating stage fright and crafting a performance, but you will also learn to share your unique personality on stage, and learn to perform with feeling, heart and honesty.

*** Studio Equipment ***
My lessons are conducted in my home in an open living room area. I have a keyboard and a guitar. You must bring your own guitar (an acoustic or acoustic electric - sorry, I do not teach lessons with electric guitars) and, if you have "accompaniment" karaoke CDs (or mp3 on your phone or laptop) and/or sheet music that you have been working with, I encourage you to bring those.

*** Travel Equipment ***
Home lessons are negotiable and I would bring a guitar and/or a percussive instrument. Your home must have a room where lessons can be conducted free from distraction (incl. pets and siblings) and have enough space for exercises and instruments. It must also be in-view of the family and have an open. Group lessons are negotiable. :-)

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the umbrella of all yoga branches. It is known to be the highest and thorough of yoga traditions. It utilizes meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques. It is best recognized as a Raj Yoga.

I had three 90 minute sessions-Diana was wonderful-she is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She has a soothing demeanor-her studio is very conducive to meditating. She asks relevant questions and was extremely therapeutic in her approach. She is very intuitive and I feel much better about the things transpiring in my life. I highly recommend Diana-from beginner to expert, my experience was great.

Diana has a calm vibe throughout the lesson. She is very intuitive to what my mind and body is communicating. She has a gift of healing and her soft voice puts you at ease. She describes postures eloquently, and is able to gauge your abilities and go at the appropriate pace with each lesson. Diana provides yoga hand-outs and will give encouraging information for your health and diet. Diana was great at helping me understand things about yoga that I wasn't familiar with, I thought her presentation when I first walked into her class was remarkable. My daughter wanted me to find her a flexibility coach to help her with dance. Because we live in a rural community, this type of instruction is not available. I did an online search and was very fortunate to connect with Take Lessons and Lindsey. She takes a 30 minute lesson twice a week and has seen considerable improvement in her flexibility. Lindsey is not only a great teacher but a great person. Her and my daughter have developed a personal relationship. Lindsey is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. She has been taking Lessons from Lindsey for 11 months, and we plan to continue with classes because of the excellent instruction she has received.

This was my first online lesson with Lindsay. I am a 64 year old woman who wants to learn ballet and in doing so become more flexible, agile and have better balance. Lindsay was very knowledgable, patient, and friendly. I felt that I was receiving real instruction and that we will make a good team together. She's very flexible and very knowledgeable about different types of stretches for your body. She is helping me work on my splits and straddle. I usually can get a front left leg split after an hour's session. I highly recommend her for flexibility training.

I am an experienced Yin yoga teacher. Yin yoga is the best way to create space and mobility in the body. We work on connective tissue by holding shapes for time, and letting gravity do the work opening the body up. If you want to be more flexible,mobile and get rid of those aches and pains then this is the practice for you.
