I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. Through my practice I have found a healthy way to manage stress and anxiety.

I just finished 5 lessons with Mark and it was just what I needed to help me improve my speaking skills. He assigned homework each week (the reason I initially chose him) that was based on our lessons. It pushed me to grow. I found him to be quite competent, gentle with correction, and pretty funny. My daughter wanted me to find her a flexibility coach to help her with dance. Because we live in a rural community, this type of instruction is not available. I did an online search and was very fortunate to connect with Take Lessons and Lindsey. She takes a 30 minute lesson twice a week and has seen considerable improvement in her flexibility. Lindsey is not only a great teacher but a great person. Her and my daughter have developed a personal relationship. Lindsey is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. She has been taking Lessons from Lindsey for 11 months, and we plan to continue with classes because of the excellent instruction she has received.

This was my first online lesson with Lindsay. I am a 64 year old woman who wants to learn ballet and in doing so become more flexible, agile and have better balance. Lindsay was very knowledgable, patient, and friendly. I felt that I was receiving real instruction and that we will make a good team together. Even though this was via FaceTime, I truly felt I had a one to one learning experience. Thank you, Linsday!

She's very flexible and very knowledgeable about different types of stretches for your body. She is helping me work on my splits and straddle. I usually can get a front left leg split after an hour's session. I highly recommend her for flexibility training.

I focus on alignment making sure you are moving in and out of postures correctly as well as while you are in the posture. This prevents injury and will allow you to get the most benefit from the practice.

I also teach pranayama (breath work), philosphy (Niyamas, Yamas, etc.), meditation and inward focus.

Lindsay is very knowledgeable about yoga and she cared about me getting what I wanted from the lesson. I have done yoga before in classes and videos, but that did not allow for real time feedback specifically for me. The online "live" class format with Lindsay had the privacy and convenience of my home and Lindsay taught for my level and condition (an old shoulder injury) and focused on making sure my form good with each position (it was all about me! lol). She gave great, clear feedback with attention to detail with every move. I definitely will take more yoga lessons from Lindsay.
