Ashley has been amazing with my son. She has taught him for almost two years now and he continues to enjoy learning piano. She is very patient, remains calm and engaging, is able to adjust the lesson as needed, and provides a positive and fun atmosphere for learning. I never hesitate to recommend her to any parents searching for a piano instructor.

I have recently coached/directed actors/actresses from ages 7 through 74 in a Mahaffey Theater Class Acts production. Also, I have acted recently in a film and a dinner theater. You will learn how to alter the tone quality of your voice and especially the prep ideas before opening your mouth to audition.

About Sara Ann

I pace our lessons and over explain a technic to make certain the client gets the concept in a HUMORFUL, JOYFUL way. Patiently we apply it to a song that is your target song or to how and what you want product or YOU you want to sell to clients/your job/your promotion/ your new career. With two

Sara is a great teacher, 5 stars plus many pluses. She can point out my problems quickly and let me practice efficiently. My accent got improved, and I recommend her to my friends who need the same help. Thank you Sara, you are my best friend too. Love you, sherry

Take lessons recommended me Sara Ann Butler because she is a great teacher. I’ve enjoyed taking lessons with her, and I am happy she has high expectations and material that was useful. I wanted to improve my speaking voice, and she was able to point out the places I could make improvements and gave me methods to improve.
To disagree with a previous review, i’ve never heard her use any anti-racist or political views. She doesn’t expect me to behave like her, and when she teaches she uses “I” and “I” is the student.
I am happy that I took vocal training from her.
Brandi
At this age , she is very hot headed. Her ego is longer than a mile. She is racist, doesnt like African-American and Asian students accent. She was making fun of ppls accents. In the begining i thought she may be trying to make a point but no. Jes thats all anger. The first, i m paying you money for this class. So just teach what you supposed to teach not your racist and politcal views. And after a few classes, I said i dont feel comfortable talking about the race religious views and the next thing she did was cancelled all my lessons without even letting me know. Now i have to restart from the begining from a new teacher and it takes a while for a new teacher to understand your accents problems. She wants her students behave like her age oh please, come on, if the student is young in her 20s or 30s you dont act or behave like her or him. They just started their lives but your almost have lived your life. She should not teach here.

Voice Acting is a very specialized part of the industry, because your voice is all you have to rely on, and every little sound, breath and thought counts! In these sessions we’ll go over how voice acting differs from on-camera acting, creating and sustaining characters and voices for animation or video games, the nuances of narration and audio books and general voice and microphone techniques. I’ll also give you tips on how to improve your vocal control and take care of your voice for optimal performance.

About Hunter

I love to help new performers and people looking to break into the biz, as well as seasoned actors who want to up-level their career or deepen their craft. I have been coaching actors since 2008 and have a unique combination of experience and training to help you launch your career and create work

Just had my first lesson with Hunter and I really enjoyed it. Although I was nervous trying out acting for the first time, she made me feel comfortable. We did some script reading and warming up word exercises that helped. I look forward to my next lesson with her.

Hunter is the best! She’s so meticulous. She catches every little nuance in your voice and has a really good ear for languages. She’s always patient and supportive but also honest with you about where the problems are and what needs work. I always feel comfortable and she gives me great solutions and exercises. Have been doing lessons for a few months now and really love it! Trust me you won’t regret it!

I have been in the acting profession for 35 years - primarily Classical Stage and Voice-Over acting. I have taught on many levels and for different ages including workshops for high school students and university level conservatory programs. I have also taught adults in both Shakespeare and group Voice-over classes (at a Professional Studio). I love what I do and love teaching it to others.

At present, I create, preformed and produced my own audio work and have found that it is incredibly beneficial to learn something new or invest time in a subject or skill that you are interested in.

About Corliss

I am an actress that has performed and taught for over 35 years. I love it! I can help you prepare for auditions, study structure, develop skills, get over fears of speaking in public or simply reach a deeper understanding of your favorite texts. As for teaching voice-acting for voice-overs, I

I initially had Corliss as a voice over teacher in a class, then decided to further my work with her as a coach and producer to create my voiceover demos. We covered all aspects of voiceover, including the physical: posture, microphone placement, etc., which I believe really enhanced my understanding of how physicality comes across via the voice. With her classical acting background, she was able to help me improve my overall speaking technique and provided me with vocal exercises to help minimize my regionalisms.

She was diligent in reviewing competitive demos to guide me to a variety of written copy and voice/energy levels that will help my demos stand up to those with more experience. She provided valuable advice regarding selection and use of materials for the demo and beyond as well as insights on the voiceover business.

I’m very pleased with the results of the two demos and expect to continue to take advantage of her coaching services as I grow in my new career.

Corliss is a master at her craft! She makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her and has a genuine interest in your goals. Corliss tailored lessons to my learning style which was very encouraging for someone with my level of experience. She has a lovely personality and her enthusiasm is infectious. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Corliss!
Steve
I took a five-session Beginning Voice Acting class with Corliss in a professional recording studio. The critiques she gave me after every recording I made helped me to speak more clearly, and to increase the energy I was able to put into my recorded presentations. Without the critiques of my recordings, I would not have been able to improve my speaking ability. During the class, she made sure everyone in the class was made to feel welcome, and important. When I take the next level of the Voice Acting class series, I will be looking forward her critiques of my recorded presentations.

"I have trained alongside Jennifer as a dancer and have seen her in action in the studio not only as the student but as the teacher. Her compassion, diligence, and dedication to sharing her own love of ballet with her students is admirable and shines through. She is dedicated to not only providing safe and polished technique and artistry but also to learning from her students and seeking out ways to improve herself.

Speaking as a peer, Jennifer's teaching style is a great hybrid between a technique-driven, traditional curriculum and a wholesome appreciation for the joy and spirit that keeps dance as a universal language. Students not only gain an understanding of the vocabulary but a safe space to develop discipline, strength and confidence."
