Llevo poco más de 14 años hablando español. En mis clases, principalmente enseño ingles y español conversacional. Si tomas lecciones conmigo, te daré el enfoque simple que la mayoría de los instructores no pueden. Al final de este curso, ¡serás conversador! Podrá comprender a los demás, hablar y, lo que es más importante, lo entenderán cuando hable.
¡Espero conocerte! Ningún alumno es demasiado joven / viejo para comenzar a aprender un idioma extranjero. ¡Comience sus lecciones hoy!

I am a full time online English Teacher, and a previous daycare owner for 10+years. I have tutored many ESL students. Over a period of time, and within the first few lessons, my students English, speaking abilities have improved a great deal. My teaching philosophy, is that learning requires more than just educating someone or acquiring new knowledge. In my opinion, I feel, that it is more so rather, are entire inner and outer circle of well being; which is why my approach to teaching, is from an aural, visual and curiosity perspective. Clay Patrick Bedford, once said: “You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives” My teaching techniques are always challenging. However, very exciting, interesting, with a blast of fun and lots of activities; very suitable and appropriate for any level of ESL. I always assess, recognize strengths, weaknesses, and structure my lessons ...
Each session, we will focus on a skill, following a small craft, for more practice on the skill. We will move at your pace, so, no need to worry!
Remember, crocheting is a relaxing, fun, skill/technique. If you stick with me, have fun, and continue to practice over a period of time, I can guarantee, that you will eventually master the skill, and off to making beautiful crafty projects fast!
I am a full time online English Teacher, and a previous daycare owner for 10+years. I have tutored many of preschool and elementary students, with math, reading, phonics, writing etc for years and my students academic grades have improved tremendously; within the first few lessons. In my opinion, I feel, that it is more so rather, are entire inner and outer circle of well being; which is why my approach to teaching is from an aural, visual and curiosity perspective. However, very exciting, interesting, with a blast of fun and lots of activities; very suitable and appropriate for your child's grade level. I always assess, recognize strengths, weaknesses, and structure my lessons accordingly. This helps me to monitor the students’ progress and provided insight to their expectations. Whenever my students learn something new, I stress how much they have achieved so far, rather than pointing out how much more they need to learn. During my teaching experience I have observed that a confident learner progresses more quickly than a discouraged one. My number one goal, is your child's success. Let's aim for the stars!

Students can expect to learn from somone that is extremely knowledgeable in the English language.
English is my first and native language. I also know intermediate Spanish so if Spanish is your first language and you are trying to learn English , there will be no language barrier for I can understand most everyday Spanish.
I speak proper and articulate English so you can feel comfortable that you are learning from someone with a Standard American accent.
I don’t believe in those typical lectures which make you feel you are in a boring classroom setting but I make it fun and interactive so that the student stays engaged and the learnjng becomes addictive like a game.
I also let the student communicate with me and I am willing to make any accommodations to fit the students needs. Whether it’s price, days and time , if you have a question , please , please, please, ask me cause I’m sure I can make some changes in schedule for the student.
No student or learner is turned away !
I'm originally from Long Island City, New York. I had a teacher of Japanese descent and she always brought her culture to the classroom. I was 10 years old, and I used to ask her questions about the way she would dress and her mannerisms and she would tell me anything I wanted to know. The culture is where it began for me, but the language is what took me on a whole different level of mentality and understanding.
I began learning the language at the age of 12 from a Japanese friend. At age 14 I learned from online courses and music, it was so intriguing to me that I began self study. At age 17 is when my listening skills began to kick in. I was understanding not only music but some Anime, this is when it really got fun lol. At age 20, is when I reached advance speaking proficiency and was able to understand LIVE dialoge from Natives. I am now 27. I am excited to teach and speak fluent japanese to you guys so you can hear it in it's native form.
So Anthony why should I choose you to be my teacher?
#1 I am literate in Japanese, I speak proper and perfect English so you will understand me lol.
#2 I will talk to you in a relatable way, so you will not feel like you're in a boring lecture, Japanese is an exciting language, so you do not need to feel like you're preached to.
#3 I will make this fun and interactive, keeping you engaged from beginning to end, wanting to know more. Most importantly I will give you as much information in the time given, so you can leave knowing your money is well spent.
#4 Lastly I can teach you formal and informal Japanese. I will give you all the key components to the Japanese Language without the fluff. In most language instruction there are key things to know mixed with fluff. This is what makes students lose interest or get confused. There will be no fluff in my class, everything that I teach you will be a key component to your language learning success.
So what are you waiting for ? Your success starts here !! Let's do this !! :)

I teach English as a second language. With me you will learn how to sound like a native speakers and pick up great conversational skills and transitions.
One thing I love about teaching is bringing the arts into the process of learning. We may sing in the language and even paint to help learn. I've taught younger than Kindergarten all the way to adults, so feel comfortable that you'll grow in advanced conversational skills, as well as, beginner vocabulary. Let me highlight that I'm passionate about "phonetics," which is the study and classification of speech sounds. In other words, you are going to learn how to sound like a native speaker when you take my class.
Why do I like to bring art and music into the learning journey? Let me tell you one of the biggest secrets I've discovered. Art and music can allow you to make a joyful memory, which takes the fleeting moment into the longterm part of your brain, causing you to remember more and put it into what you call "muscle memory" all because you're happy!
Speaking of the arts, I play guitar, ukulele, charango, piano, and I sing! I've been a musician since 2000, and I've successfully turned a hobby into something my husband and I have been doing full time for several years. For beginners, something that works best is taking a song that you LOVE and turning it into your anthem on the instrument of your choice. So pick your song and message me!
Last but not least, I'm a painter. Painting is my favorite part of any day. About my childhood, I can candidly say I had the best stepmom. She would let me take her enormous canvases, oil paints, and brushes and just let me at it. Of course at first they were all of my hand prints and rainbows, but she got me curious, and eventually we started going to museums. I've seen Vangogh, Monet, Divinci, Picasso, and many more as they toured through our city. I began to study their techniques and grow my gift. My "Mama Sue" gifted me a hunger for creativity and excellence, and I can't thank her enough. Painting with me, you will grow in your technique, skill, and confidence, and pick up a little artist history along the way.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you accomplish your dreams!

Although English idioms don't make sense at first, these unique expressions (together with proverbs) add substance and humor to our conversations. The Oxford Dictionary defines the word "idiom" as a: "group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g. over the moon, see the light)." This means that English idioms should not be taken literally, because their meaning is metaphorical. You don't really wish someone would âbreak a …
