I believe students learn English faster and more in-depth, when they are having fun.
I enjoy tailoring the exercises and activities to my student's interests and focus on improving their speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills.
There are many approaches and methods out there to teach English. I believe it's beneficial to introduce them all. Not only does this add variety but can help us discover an approach or method that really clicks with the way you learn.
The class is full-immerison, meaning from start to finish we communicate in English. This is the best way to learn English; even if you don't know any English, we will communicate only in English ( don't worry- just as a child learns a language, we will use photos, videos, music and other media to aid in learning. This will make learning English easy)
I am here for you. Whatever goals you have, we can accomplish them together.

As a non-native speaker of English, I struggled to learn the English Language on my own. It was very difficult; however, with hard work and persistence, I managed to learn the language and became proficient at it. Furthermore, my experience in language acquisition led me to tutor students from various non-English speaking countries with difficulties in pronunciation, reading and writing, while pursuing my BA and MA at Brooklyn College University. I rose from my position as Tutor to a Master Tutor/Professor's Assistant. One of the biggest rewards to me is to be able to give back by making other's journey into language acquisition as easy and effective as possible.

Loving what I do is what makes me an effective and popular Spanish Teacher/Tutor. As a Native Speaker of the target language, I had to learn English. Having had that experience, has helped me to relate to the difficulty involved in language acquisition and to become more compassionate with my stud

Over the years I have taught English to students of all races, nationalities and ethnicities. Additionally, living in New York, an extremely diverse city, has necessitated great flexibility on my part. I teach reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and proper pronunciation, but because I work with so many "non-native speakers", I have learned to be very patient and methodical in my approach, customizing the lesson to each student and breaking the steps down as much as is necessary. I have also become quite familiar with many of the handicaps associated with specific ethnic groups when trying to learn English. Overall, as an English teacher I welcome the additional challenge and I always look forward to the opportunity for cultural exchange as well.

There are certainly some tricky words in the English language! And sometimes, people who have learned English as a second language mix up these words. Want to avoid making the same mistakes? Here are the words ESL learners misuse the most. Them, Those, and These "Them" is a pronoun that stands in the place of a plural noun. It is commonly used as the subject of a sentence, as in: Did you see them? or Have you seen the scissors? I used them to cut the labels off my T-shirts; now I can’t fin …

In this article, online tutor Natalie S. shares her best tricks for remembering some of the toughest English writing rules… Grammar isn’t for everyone. In fact, most people tend to forget the majority of their English grammar and punctuation lessons by the time they graduate from high school. Even though grammar tends to be a boring subject to learn about, it’s still important to understand and utilize grammar and punctuation rules correctly. These seemingly small details make a big di …

Although English idioms don't make sense at first, these unique expressions (together with proverbs) add substance and humor to our conversations. The Oxford Dictionary defines the word "idiom" as a: "group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g. over the moon, see the light)." This means that English idioms should not be taken literally, because their meaning is metaphorical. You don't really wish someone would “break a …
