She is great, just great. 1st course yet she immediately helped me understand what were the real issues and how to tackle them. Now I feel confident to pass in front of an audience, because I know I will be heard and I will be understood!

I had to learn an Irish dialect for a big audition I was called in for last minute. My friend suggested Erin to help with dialect coaching and audition coaching, and man, I'm so grateful. With Erin's training and expertise, I was able to learn the Irish dialect in an hour and nailed the audition! She has experience with multiple acting and audition techniques...she's able to speak multiple acting "languages". If you're looking for any audition coaching or dialect coaching, I definitely recommend Erin! She knows what she's doing!

I have worked with Erin on several occasions, because she is so wonderful at her job! She has helped me to prepare for numerous auditions, many of which have gone very well as a result. She is an incredible actor herself, and she uses her talent and expertise to help me be the best actor I can be. Finding my super objective in a monologue or scene, the different tactics, focus, awareness, groundedness... these are all things she has helped me to do to strengthen my own work. She is down to earth and open, which makes working with her really easy and comfortable. Performing my work in front of somebody else can be very difficult, because I often question what the viewer will think of me. Not only does Erin help me fight that fear, she helps me find the gratitude and joy in getting to perform. I highly recommend Erin as an acting coach! She’s fantastic!

Bgcheck Background Checked

About Matt

I went to Pensacola Catholic High and graduated in 2003. I then attended and Auburn University, where I became a Christian, and graduated in 2007. Once I finished, I went overseas to teach English and do missions. I taught in Thailand from 2003-2007 and then in China from 2012-2016. I have been teaching since that time and am back home now to get my Master's degree in TESOL. I enjoy teaching people and watching their confidence grow as they learn new skills and develop new abilities. My teaching style is relaxing but challenging; as much as possible, I encourage and motivate students to have a love of learning, not just of this subject but of learning in general.

He was really understanding to the fact that I haven't been speaking much Chinese for the past 6 months. He went at a good pace and helped me understand all the vocabulary.

About Sean

Dear Students and Parents,

Born and raised in Germany, I graduated from college in 1995 with a degree in special ed and nursing. I came to Texas in 1997 and studied Biology at UTD. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in health care, and I also obtained my teaching certification in composite science (teaching chemistry, biology and physics) and in German.
Currently I am teaching high school science classes (biology, physics, anatomy&physiology) , as well as German 1, 2, 3, and 4 (including pre-AP and AP German) at a local school.
I have been teaching , translating and interpreting German for several years.

I graduated with my Master's degree in science education in 2015, and I am writing curriculum since 2013. Currently I am enrolled for my PhD in biology.

I am offering German lessons for every level, beginner

to advanced, including conversation, test preparation, and reading German literature. Since every student has different interests and needs, I customize the lessons and reading materials to fit the individual student. My specialties are medical and technical German, and business German.

I am tutoring all science subjects from K through 12, and some subjects on a college level as well. Sciences can be hard to understand sometimes, and I am generally able to break down the concepts to make them easier to comprehend, often with the help of manipulatives and hands-on material, such as molecular kits, microscopes, lab experiments, or games.

About Amanda

Learning always takes on a new exciting flavor when you're working with someone who is truly passionate about seeing their students succeed, and that's me! I have been teaching all ages for about 16 years and I love my work.

My passion is English, English literature, writing (I am a published fiction author), and helping people acquire English through ESL instruction. I have students from Hong Kong to Houston and I love it! I also teach SAT and ACT verbal and essay writing sections and scored a perfect 6 on the essay for the GRE exam. I am a supportive and insightful writing coach and editor. I worked at the Paris Review just out of college in the editorial department and great works of English literature and non-fiction excite me profoundly. I have students now from middle school through to their 50's and I love them all.

I work

with adult business people on written presentations and research projects, from all over the world. Also many college level students work with me editing and perfecting essays for their classes and on research paper construction, development and editing in subjects areas as diverse as mapping genomes for olfactory function in mice to French literature theses or film studies papers.

I have a number of middle school kids working with me on creative writing currently as well.

I only teach online using Skype which is the easiest and most flexible way for me to work with my students from all over the world.
I work out of the EST time zone.

I needed to improve my score on my SAT by 150 points. I worked with Amanda for 8 weeks, 2 hours a week, and I did it. I increased by 160. I also improved my essay score by 5 points! She is easy to work with, flexible and an expert at these exams. She also worked with me on the ACT and I scored an overall 34. Later I also needed to pass an essay exam to take classes through Harvard, English is not my first language. I passed the exam from working with Amanda and I was totally confident when I took the test, which makes a huge difference.

"Andy embodies all that a good teacher should be. He mixes the art of emotional connection to the science. After 5 hours teaching sessions with Andy, and w
ithout having any prior knowledge on accounting, I felt confident in the fundamentals. He is excellent in helping someone thoroughly understand the subject matter. He is patient, flexible and highly professional and I would highly recommend Andy to anyone seeking a tutor."

"Joyee is an exceptional standardized test tutor. I highly recommend him. I found Joyee after an exhaustive search for help with the PSAT/SAT/ACT for my so
n. My son's school recommended a large national test-prep company, but after investigating that option, we didn't think it was the right fit. My student already understands these tests and has some experience taking them; he needed a person to get him to the "next level" and not waste time going over basic review/prep.
Joyee provides fast-paced and completely personalized instruction. He first diagnoses where a student is along the spectrum of readiness for these tests. He zones in on problem areas and has materials ready to strengthen these areas of weakness. My son has enjoyed working with Joyee and says their sessions have definitely increased his confidence for the upcoming tests. I appreciate so many things about having Joyee work with my son. Joyee is extremely intelligent, energetic, and dedicated; he knows what's he's doing and will provide concise, clear instruction; he has a good website where he exchanges files, keeps the tutoring materials organized, etc.; he doesn't waste time during online sessions (you will get your money's worth).
I'd recommend Joyee for help with your student's test prep in any circumstances, but particularly if your child is scoring towards the top end of the scoring range and he/she wants that extra boost. Our family appreciates Joyee's assistance and feels it has been very beneficial to our son."

"My lessons with Laurel have been fantastic! She's very patient & knows exactly how to make everything make sense & how to break things down in order give
proper analysis in whatever she teaches from piano to singing to basic music theory. She was able to answer any questions I had in full detail. She's a very warm & welcoming person that loves to teach & can do so very well. I highly recommend her as an instructor. She is with out a doubt, a genius of her craft."

"My GMAT journey began wth a large amount of frustration toward both the exam and the expectations I had set for myself. Leona was extremely patient and un
derstanding of my schedule while I was working and made it a priority to help me feel better prepared in areas I was struggling. Bottom line, if you want to do well on this exam it is YOU who needs to put in the effort - Leona will give you the tools to succeed - but if you want a 700+, come prepared to eat, sleep, and breathe the exam. That being said, I'm happy to have Leona as very close friend of mine now and could not have gotten to the finish line without her! A million thank you's!!!!"
