After spending about 25 years in the financial business, I've been teaching and tutoring math for 10 years and my students have found that I'm very patient, good at explaining math concepts, and successful in increasing their confidence when dealing with math problems. Rather than just have students memorize rules or procedures, I help students derive ways to remember and understand concepts. I also help students improve their study habits and test-taking strategies.
I changed careers from being in the investment industry to teaching and tutoring math because I believe that for many people achieving happiness and success in today's world requires strong math skills. I have always had fun with math and I am saddened when I hear people say, "I'm not good at math"

I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.
I'm a graduate of Dean College in Franklin, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in art history and studio art with a focus on portrait painting and illustration. I continued further study at the Andeeva Portrait Academy in Sante Fe New Mexico, the Los Angeles Acad

Greetings! I am an English professor with a background and daily life steeped in creative writing. Whether you are a student, hobbyist, aspiring or current author, I can help.
I will teach you how to incorporate writing into your daily discipline, how to overcome writer's block effectively and reliably, what the "rules" are and how to break them. I will solidify what it actually means to be a "good writer."
If you want to learn more about how to polish your manuscript in preparation for publication, I am experienced and will teach you what you need to know.
If you are a Mac user who is interested in learning more about the process of turning your manuscript into an e-book, I can introduce you to a formatting program and teach you to use it.
Examples of those who would benefit from my classes:
-Students currently studying creative writing
-Hobbyist writers, i.e. those who write for the fun of it (personal projects, fan fiction, etc.)
-Aspring authors, i.e. those who
I am an English professor at Regent University and have been teaching there for over two years. Shortly put, writing is not a hobby for me; it is my lifestyle. My creative writing passion was evident from the time I was in first grade, when I ran up to my teacher, excitedly telling her how much
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure to work with her outside the classroom when it comes to writing. She has helped me work on poems and gave great constructive criticism on stories I have been working on. Professor Moore really works with your learning styles, and is a great person to learn from.
I highly recommend her and all she can offer!

With more than 7 years of teaching Psychology and metaphysics I am here to assist those who are beginners/intermediates in the field seeking practical and effective lessons on Psychology. My lessons are unconventional in the sense that you will not be bombarded with boring textbook information that has been collected by past notable Psychologists and scholars. Instead, in my lessons, you will actively explore into the actual reality of the human psyche by way of direct observation of your very own psyche/mind.
Greetings, my name is Mr. Coleman (aka "rhaqim") and I have been very well versed in psychology and profound metaphysical knowledge for about 7 years now. Within the last 3 years I self-published 3 books pertaining to such topics. I genuinely love teaching and sharing powerful experiential insi

At some point in your academic career, you'll need to know how to analyze an argument properly. Here, tutor Andrew P. shares his guide to success... As a college student, you'll be expected at some point to understand, restate, comment on, or discuss someone’s assertion (strongly stated position). An argument is a reason(s) for a conclusion. He is dense (reason); therefore, I won’t talk with him (conclusion). I won’t talk with him (conclusion) because he is dense (r …
