    About Erin C.

I am an actor, comedian, speech & dialect coach, and acting teacher. I had steady freelance teaching and coaching jobs for 3 years in NYC, as well as steady acting work in NYC and Chicago theatre for several years. I moved to LA from Cambridge, MA, where I earned my MFA in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard. I am still an active performer in comedy, theatre, film, and TV. I have coached privately and for theatre productions ranging from world-premieres to revivals of Pinter plays to musicals. I've directed Shakespeare and new plays, I've been a dramaturg, and I've coached auditions at levels ranging from school plays to professional work. I actively coach actors all over LA--and, now, around the country via video. I love working with actors of all experience levels, but I also enjoy working with non-performers who are looking to feel more confident in their voice and speech skills.

My 18 year old son took 6 lessons from Erin to hone his British accent in his school play. He commented that her lessons were easy to follow, very helpful, and he looked forward to spending time with her refining his character. Thank you Erin!

My 18 year old was thrilled with his first session, helping him prepare for his British character in the school play. He asked for more lessons, which is a testament to Erin’s style!
