Vadoll has been one of the best teachers pr mentors you could ever learn from. He has the ability and gift of gab to open your mind to new perspectives you may have mot thought of. He can be firm but forgiving and will give you great advice on how to approach certain social situations. Ever since I met him and received his services in January 2014, I become a better communicator and have started attracting people's attention more frequently. I would definitely recommend!

I remember preparing for college and feeling so stressed about taking the SATs. Sure, there’s a study book but it’s huge and can be so overwhelming. Some schools offer SAT prep classes, but for me, I have always done better with one-on-one attention. In being your SAT tutor, I hope to make this process less overwhelming. I will teach you test-taking techniques, what kind of questions to expect, and essay prep.

I LOVE taking piano lessons with Celine! She’s a great teacher and a very kind and sweet person. She is by far the most knowledgeable piano teacher I’ve had. Celine’s teaching style is very flexible—she’s great for a serious player because she’s very thorough and also for a beginner because she’s so kind and patient. I’ve played the piano for many years and Celine has really helped me improve. She’s taught me how to practice effectively at home and helps me notice details in the music I wasn’t taught before. Celine is clearly very passionate about what she does. I always enjoy my lessons and I highly recommend taking lessons with her!

My daughter started her lesson with music school group class, while it is fun and fundamental, it starts to get harder as the year pass.
She need more one to one attention with experience teacher who could help her with the details that the group class cannot provide. We are so grateful to have Ms. Celine. She is so patience. Her teaching supported my daughter skill that lack from group class and my daughter is happy to learn piano which in turn make her do more practice and improve her skill. I am very satisfied.

Celine is a wonderful piano teacher! She is patient, works well with children, and is truly dedicated to developing her students. My 6-year-old son had no musical background and she has since taught him how to sight-read in a short amount of time! She encourages a little bit of music book homework, helps with posture, finger positioning, proper technique, etc. and makes each lessons fun and enjoyable. She is an expert in everything music and is very responsive to any questions I have. My son looks forward to each of his lessons. I highly recommend Celine!

I teach the basics of Algebra and show the student every step in a simple and easy to learn way. If the student knows the basic multiplication and division, I can teach him or her. Math is fun and I understand how intimidating it can be at first sight and I can ease their fears of math and plus I am patient and more concerned about the student learning from me more than my earning from the student. If the student continues with me, I can teach the student how to derive the quadratic equation the quick and simple way.

"Ian has helped me with numerous creative writing projects for school and personal work. In my creative writing class he helped hone my ideas and give me more background on the structure of my short story. He also copy edited all of my papers and essays. Now that I am out of school he has helped me with a few small personal projects and also has done some copy editing for my website and creative blurbs. He is a great teacher/tutor."

"My goal with home tutoring was to keep my son interested in math and get him and advanced and challenging work well ahead of what he was exposed to in school. My son got a lot of individual attention from Julia. She was very patient and kind and was structuring my son's lessons to keep up with his learning pace. This helped my son to accelerate in math and prepare him well for ACT and SAT testing."

"I hired Daniel to help my daughter prepare for an assessment test. They only had 2 months to prepare and many of the subjects were being introduced to her for the first time. He had his work cut out for him. But he did a phenomenal job. He methodically organized each subject and proceeded to cover it thoroughly before moving on to the next. He had the right balance of persistence and understanding to keep my daughter stay focused and, at the same time, build up her confidence. I'm happy to report that she ended up passing the exam and she credits him for this result."

How to Score a 5 on the AP Calculus Test

Getting ready to take the AP Calculus test? Brush up on these study tips from Olympia, WA tutor Tali H...   The AP Calculus exam is rumored to be one of the harder AP tests - especially for those of us who math doesn't come easily to. The test takes three hours and 15 minutes, and has 45 multiple-choice questions and six short-answer questions. Both types have a non-calculator part and a calculator part. Even though it sounds daunting, with some determination and productive studying, …
