I am a native English speaker with 4 years of experience with international students learning the English Language. I have worked with students from all over the world, from Russia, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, China, Japan, Qatar, and more! I have a great love and understanding of world cultures and languages, I am myself from a bilingual background and culture.

My goal is to help you become a fluent English speaker so that you can achieve your personal goals and be successful in this language. You will have the chance to do most of the talking in our sessions and we will focus on the elements you would like the most help with. We will focus on how grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and all other functions of the language come together with everyday life and conversation. I believe students learn English faster and more in-depth, when they are having fun.
I enjoy tailoring the exercises and activities to my student's interests and focus on improving their speaking, listening, writing,and reading skills.
There are many approaches and methods out there to teach English. I believe it's beneficial to introduce them all. Not only does this add variety but can help us discover an approach or method that really clicks with the way you learn.
The class is full-immerison, meaning from start to finish we communicate in English. This is the best way to learn English; even if you don't know any English, we will communicate only in English ( don't worry- just as a child learns a language, we will use photos, videos, music and other media to aid in learning. This will make learning English easy)

I've been teaching ESL to adults for 12 years, both in face to face and on-line formats. As a former ESL student myself, I empathize with the struggle and frustration that comes when learning to communicate in a whole different language. I have accumulated several tips and strategies to facilitate practice and accelerate learning and fluency.
