My students like to call me Dr. Jeanne, so feel free to do the same! I have been in music all my life and I love helping my students no matter what level they may be.from beginning to advanced. My experience in music started on stage at age three and by the time I was 21 I was singing and dancing on national television in many variety tv shows after having won the tittle of Miss Memphis. I studied music at Stephens College in Columbia, MO and the University of California in music andI have since taught hundreds of voice and piano students everything I know about music and performance. Piano is a joy to teach, but my greatest love is teaching voice .I specialize in all styles of music as long as I feel it is musical, developmental and expressive.. Music takes time and discipline to master and I'm looking forward t
o meeting you and hearing all about your goals and dreams in music and how I can help you along your path.
It was a pleasure and great experience to meet with Dr. Jeanne

I absolutely love working with Dr. Jeanne! She helps me reach my full potential and I feel more confident every time. I can definitely feel my progress and a change in both my voice and my confidence after only a few lessons. Singing has always been a passion of mine and I love that Dr.Jeanne understands that passion and motivates me to do my best! So grateful to be working with her!
Kathryn K I am happy to be offering actors, performers and speakers private sessions to strengthen and ignite your work. Actors; we will address technique for film, stage, on camera work, audition technique, monologue, scene study, script analysis, self tapes and sessions that educate and support actors and performers to work in the industry. We will address you. Speakers: I offer one on one coaching in studio and online, offering tools to empower the speaker or executive to communicate with authenticity and confidence. I have worked with people from almost industry you can name. Many of my students work with me to overcome years of shyness. This work helps them speak more comfortably and confidently. I am so happy about this. Most of my actors and performers secure roles, agents and are accepted to the universities they desire, incl
uding but not limited to; NYU Tisch, Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, USC, UCLA and Chapman, to name a few.

I studied at HB Studio, Mark Monroe Studios and Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. I teach communication skills using tools that actors know to help professionals outside of show business communicate effectively and freely. It is extremely inspiring for people who are not in the arts for a living.

Auditions!! They are definitely the most difficult and nerve wracking part of being an actor or singer, right? Booking work means your audition has to be as good as opening night. Auditioning is about preparation and preparation takes consistent support. Look, showbiz is not a business about being alone. Artists thrive when working together. We are a collaborative bunch and collaborating to make sure you're ready and organized for your auditions makes sense. Stop trying to muscle through this necessary step alone. No one who works consistently does that! They ask for help. ASK FOR HELP!! Solidify your acting choices so you don't have to worry about them the day before your audition. Know your prep so you can internally drop into it when the casting director says, "Whenever you're ready." Have your music material and performance choices prepared ahead of time. BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. Work with me when your agent sends you your sides so you show up READY. Know your lines. It's OK if your struggling with memorization. Let's figure out How YOU memorize. Let me coach you for online audition submissions. If we are working virtually I will coach while you are taping yourself to submit your online audition. It works! Let me collaborate with on script analysis in order for you to you understand your material before you audition. Take your work seriously so you bring your most intelligent and inspiring work to the audition rooms. You'll be bringing the agents, casting directors, directors, producers and writers the inspiration they crave regarding their beloved projects. Do that and you're gonna book. I know you can work and I can't wait to make it happen with you. About Kathryn Kathryn is a member of the Sag-Aftra and Actors Equity and BMI and is a Critics Circle Award Winner. Gil Gross, Host The Gil Gross Show Radio, ABC "I have loved Kathryn's music from the day I first heard her sing, but even being a fan of her recordings did not prepare me for seeing her perform live. She is a great live performer holding her audience willing captives to each turn of a melody and the drama of every lyric. She more than sings. She inhabits a song and involves each member of the audience in its drama, joy or sorrow. There are performers for whom a performance is a night out. When Kathryn performs its a lifetime shared with us in a single evening. If you want to merely hear some tunes, there are many people who will do. If you want a real experience in music, there is Kathryn. AMAZING! Kathryn is a star and an excellent mentor!
Hey, my name is Alex. I'm a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, Oud, bouzouki, keyboards, voice, drums, flute, etc.), composer, performer, recording artist, arranger/orchestrator/transcriber, recording engineer/producer & music educator.
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas "Cum Laude" in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance, with minors in Music Production & Composition. While attending St. Thomas I served as the Music Theory tutor, as well as the live sound/stage/light/recording technician for student & faculty recitals.
I have been playing professionally & teaching for over a decade. My passion for music is something that I love to share with anyone else who feels inclined to make music. My goal is to share the skills & knowledge I've acquired throughout my experiences with those willing to learn & dedic
ate themselves to the craft of making music.
I am a full-time member of Maiden Dixie (country/rock; guitar/vocals), Sumo Seven (Funk; bass/vocals), & Armadillo Tank (Prog rock; guitar/vocals). Along with my solo band, I perform for numerous pit orchestras, bands, tributes, & artists around the Twin Cities area.
In February 2019, I released my debut solo album, "Sonic Chef's Circus Absurdities".
*** Lesson Details *** I am an experienced gigging musician in most major genres of music: classical, jazz, blues, rock, funk, folk, metal, acoustic fingerstyle/slap, instrumental rock, "shred," pop, world music, electronica, etc. & feel comfortable conveying the techniques, approaches & idioms to a student by breaking them down into digestible components, while making these new ideas relatable to material they are already familiar with.
In the end, I want the student to learn what they're most interested in learning. I'm here to answer any questions they may have & with my experiences, I feel confident that I will be able to either answer these questions or point them in the right direction. Some topics covered:
Scales/modes Ear training Instrument-specific techniques (ie bending, tapping, sweep picking, etc.) Songwriting & Composition Arranging & Orchestrating Sight-reading Improvisation Chordal theory & how to read charts Practice routines & approaches Instrument maintenance Instrument-based gear (guitars, amplifiers, effects, picks, slides, capos, etc.)
The student will learn at the pace they set for themselves & can only get out of it the amount of effort they put forth. I expect my students to practice on a regular basis (however brief each session may be). Consistency is key for progress to be made, & if they hold up their end of the bargain, the payoffs will be quite substantial!
*** Studio Equipment *** Practice amplifier, tuner, music stand(s), guitar picks & cables.
*** Travel Equipment *** I can provide guitar neck paper. I expect the students to have their own instrument & any materials they may need to achieve the goals they've set for themselves (such as a weekly notebook).
*** Specialties *** Progressive rock, classic rock, blues, jazz, funk, disco, classical, acoustic fingerstyle/slap, flamenco guitar; music theory, sight-reading, composition, songwriting, film scoring, music production.

Connor is an excellent teacher. I worked with her via Skype for over a year. I played accordion as a child and wanted to get back into it as an adult. She helped me build my confidence and my proficiency around playing the accordion. She went through a lesson book that I purchased on my own previously. She arranged music for me so I could play more contemporary songs that my 3yo daughter would recognize. She worked with my schedule. She has a lovely personality. She is very encouraging. She is amazingly talented in music. And I couldn't recommend a better teacher. I wish you all the best, Connor! Thank you for everything!

I'm a professional singer/teacher residing in New York City with degrees from Indiana State University, and New York University with a specialization in Classical Art Song, Musical Theatre Repertoire, and Vocal Pedagogy.
Every lesson is about YOU. So each week we will take a look at your goals for the lesson, whether you are preparing for college auditions, school talents shows, a desire to work with music theory, or piano skills, this is your opportunity to explore. Everything is possible.
As a professional singer myself, I am constantly auditioning on broadway, off-broadway, and for smaller local and regional theater opportunities. I believe that as a teacher I have to continue to be in the field and learning as the industry continues to change. I have to be aware of the opportunities in this business. I have been hired by pr
ofessional opera and musical theatre companies, in additional to large choral works as a soloist, and have a private studio in Washington Heights.
Prior to NYC I taught middle school choir for 200+ students, of which I received teacher of the year in 2012. I also still hold a valid teaching license in the state of Indiana and currently applying toward my NYS teaching certification.
Within my voice studio I teach in person and online lessons. While online lessons can be beneficial for students wishing to study with me that are not in the immediate vicinity, I recommend in person lessons
I look forward to hearing your beautiful voice and helping you to embrace music!
Shelley is fantastic. She made me feel at ease right away, even though I have no prior singing experience and I was incredibly nervous. As early as my second lesson, I could already hear a difference in my voice when I listened back to the recording of our session! She really knows what she's doing and it shows. I highly recommend Shelley. In addition to being a great music teacher - which she is - she's also so pleasant to work with! She's fast to respond, very accommodating with her schedule, friendly and easygoing, and professional. I started out thinking I'd just take a few weeks' worth of lessons to get out of my comfort zone. Over a year later, I'm still here, and looking forward to every week.

Ms. Shelley is very dedicated to every one of her students. It is a pleasure working with her!

Shelley is by far the best voice teacher I have ever had. Within the short duration of time that I have worked with her, I have noticed that my voice has significantly changed (it feels and sounds better) after using her techniques. She knows what she’s talking about and offers substantial and specific criticism. She individualizes every student, in that she chooses repertoire that benefits a particular voice instead of assuming that every student has the same voice and strengths/weaknesses. This is a very important skill for a voice teacher to have. Shelley is also very good at time management within a lesson. Most importantly, she makes the experience fun! I would highly recommend Shelley to anyone who is looking for a voice teacher! Thank you Shelley!
I have been twirling for almost 30 years, and I have taught all different age levels. I have numerous resources for inspiration, questions, and material. I was the captain at the University of Arizona, and I currently have my own team here in Texas. I find students these days learn best when they have an individualized approach to teaching. We follow a curriculum, but we always tailor the program to the child. My own child needs extra attention when it comes to youth sports, so I have learned techniques to teaching children with disabilities. I have trained many twirlers who have gone on to win titles, and I have worked with Elite twirlers to help them perform and compete effectively. My goal is to create more coaches through my teaching and grow the sport of baton twirling.
"Candice is a really fun and outgoing instructor that knows how to bring a play to life with her knowledge of acting. The performances she’s taught are alw
ays enjoyable and entertaining. She mentored me so well that I’ve even won an award thanks to her. I highly recommend her!"
"Randy does an amazing job. I am beginning in acting and trying to discover myself in the acting career. Randy does an amazing job and really helped me set
my expectations and eased me into the next lesson. If you want to discover the world of acting you should give Randy a shot, you will not be disappointed with the valuable information he has to offer."
"David is informative, engaging and approached my lesson with great input on technique. He helped me go beyond the lines I needed to read, to a better un
derstanding of the character. He's fun, thoughtful and kept the lesson moving. I'm looking forward to my next lesson."
"David is amazing. His method is very effective and I really enjoyed the classes."
"Had such a great first class with Sara. I am so excited for more! She is very sweet and enthusiastic!"
"Great first class lots of fun"
"Fawn is more than a teacher, she's a mentor and a trusted ally in this crazy business of music. I decided to wait and write this review for July 4 because
Fawn gave me my independence! What better day to celebrate her, than today? Under Fawn's guidance, I'm not the same performer on stage, vocalist or musician I once was, before I was scared, my voice would crack, my hands would shake, my legs felt wobbly. NOW, I am strong, fierce, fearless and independent! No more vocal issues thanks to her brilliant endurance training! For the first time, I performed in front of a crowd of 5,000, and rather than being afraid, I was excited! I could not have done that without Fawn. I am so excited for what the future holds. I won't give up my time with Fawn for nothin'! Here's to bigger audiences, more music, and YOU, Fawn! xx"
"Ian was very helpful in working w/ me on my script. I had an idea of what I wanted, and we outlined and thought about the story and characters before I ev
en started writing. Definitely in a better place with my script now! Only "complaint" is that sometimes one class a week isn't enough and I wish we had more time."
"When my daughter wanted private dancing lessons to help her prepare for her drill team audition and told me she had found an instructor online via a websi
te I'd never heard of, I was pretty dubious at first. However, the previous instructor I had lined up fell through and we were facing time constraints, so I had little choice but to give Roman a shot.
And boy were we glad we did! Roman impressed me from the very beginning. He was friendly, down to earth and had a very charming sense of humor. Not only that, but he's an excellent dancer with a lot of experience in "the real world" who knows what he's doing.
Roman was very patient with my daughter, listening to her concerns and addressing them while adding his own recommendations and expertise as to what she needed to know and work on further. Along the way, he made sure to point out the proper technique that the judges would look for. He was very thorough in drilling down to the specifics and making sure she did every move correctly, but teaching her in such a way that made it fun.
Thanks to Roman, my daughter feels much more confident and prepared heading into her auditions. We really liked Roman a lot and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to increase their skills in dance."
Good dancers can make even the most complicated, strenuous techniques look effortless and fluid. If you've ever watched an experienced dancer perform a tap routine, you probably watched in disbelief as their feet turned into a blur of movement that seemed to move independently from the rest of their body. Sometimes the sound effects are even more impressive; when done well, tap dance is a musical art form that creates its own rhythm.
Do you want to train your own feet to create this unique mixt …
