Whether you need copy-editing of your professional document, better pronunciation, or simply to reduce your accent, and sound more 'American', I am well able to help you!

About Stephanie
I am a career musician, and conservatory trained violin, piano and vocal instructor with over 25 years teaching experience, and a resume spanning many pages. I also am a well endorsed composer. Furthermore, I LOVE teaching! I am a competition judge, member of National Music Teachers Association, and Suzuki Association of the Americas. I have proven results, as documented on my students YouTube channel. With my instruction, you will learn quickly and most importantly, correctly, saving you time and resources as you reach your musical goals. Fact: One of the only activities that activates, stimulates, and uses the entire brain is music, so let's get started!

Some people have difficulty reaching a teachers' studio. For this reason, I have perfected my ability to teach via Skype or FaceTime. It is an advantage for my students to b
e instructed by a quality teacher. It's worth a try, isn't it?

Please note: I only accept weekly lesson students. Also, due to my performances, I'm not always able to this calendar up to date....so when you request a lesson time, allow me to communicate with you, if we need to adjust it a bit. It almost always works out if you don't mind doing that.

*** Lesson Details ***
All the students on my Student YouTube channel who have studied under three years, are practicing 2 hours a week, and you will have a similar result. That's 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Students under 5 practice about 10-15 minutes a day.

Please have an assignment book that lies flat, and keep it next to your music books as you practice between lessons. My instructions are very detailed to insure your best progress.

*** Studio Equipment ***
For on-line lessons, you will need a quiet place, and please test your sound and video prior to beginning of lesson. For students under 13 or so, do have a parent or caregiver taking notes while we work together.

*** Specialties ***
I have much experience with various learning styles, and in fact, am featured in a documentary made of one of my autistic students.

I began taking on line Organ lessons with Stephanie in July of 2016. She is an excellent instructor. She makes you want to learn and do your best. She is very patient and explains things very well. She asks that you practice 20 minutes a day. Since she inspires you to improve and do your best, it is easy to practice longer than requested. She has brought joy back into my life through music. I am very grateful.

I have been teaching English as a Second Language/English to Speakers of Other Languages and English as a Foreign Languages in Germany and the United States for more than two decades. The degree MA English undoubtedly forms a solid foundation for it. I authored and co-authored numerous textbooks of English as a Foreign Language for the German public school system.

About Wolfgang
I spent two decades of my professional life teaching English in Germany, authoring and co-authoring textbooks for the English classroom.
During my stay in the US, I had the opportunity to develop curricula for teaching German in public schools as well as private schools and wrote articles in the field of German literature. Undoubtedly, my academic background (MA in German and English and a Ph.D. in the field of education) helps me to provide solid work for my students.

What is my approach? First of all, I listen carefully, very carefully. I believe it is important for an excellent job to know precisely what my client wants to accomplish. Understanding this is the prerequisite to give good advice, guidance and then, of course, a plan, a kind of strategy to follow in order to reach these goals.

There is no dogma; there is only one
main criterion: success.

Most highly recommended! I found Wolfgang to be an excellent German instructor for me. As a mature (50+) professional I was looking for a native German with perfect mastery of English and impeccable teaching credentials. Wolfgang fit that description perfectly. He tailored the lessons to my needs and made them fun. Along with the excellent language lessons, I really enjoyed his stories about life in Germany, and especially his hometown of Berlin. Thanks to Wolfgang I am much farther along my journey of learning to speak German.

Wolfgang was top notch. He understood and catered to both my learning needs and my chaotic schedule. His knowledge of the German language and its history only exists from a native speaker, and his skill with instruction only comes from decades of experience. Lessons were always informative and fun!

Great first lesson! I'm looking forward to digging deeper into the verb tenses and to continue conversing in Spanish. Power point, Google, all sort of visuals have been used and they all made our lesson not just a virtual encounter but a real life experience. Thank you!

It's no secret, learning a new language is tough! I myself am a language student and understand the difficulties and hard work students must endure to learn a new language.

I spent three years living and traveling abroad. During this time, I began my career as an ESL instructor. Those three years provided me the foundation of experience as an ESL teacher that I continue to build upon today. I strive to provide students the knowledge and skills they need to meet their individual language goals. I use personalized lesson plans emphasizing an immersion into the English language and culture. My lessons will engage students not only by providing grammatical and vocabulary building exercises, but also by inducing conversational fluidity through fun and exciting speaking activities.

My classes begin with a presentation. This is the time when we work together to learn and understand a new topic in English. We may be learning about propositions of place such as "in at on." ...

About Ryan
Hello my name is Ryan. For the past several years I have been teaching English as a second language in Madrid, Spain. During my travels abroad, I learned and experienced different cultures and how to interact with people from varying backgrounds. Now that I've returned home, I am looking to continue providing private lessons to eager ESL students. I strive to provide students with fun and engaging classes that are specifically designed to meet their unique learning needs and goals. I can teach students of all levels as well as give courses for test preparation.
My lessons are designed in a three step manner. First, I present a new topic to you that we examine as a team and work through together. Next, we practice the topic through various activities designed to help reinforce what you have learned. Finally, you actually produce
the skill that we have learned during our lesson. We do this final step to solidify your learning and help move the information into your long term memory so you can use it in your daily life!

I am currently studying to become a high school English teacher. I tutor six students at the time. One of my students doesn't speak English. I speak a bit of Spanish, but I am by no means perfect at it. Teaching is a passion of mine, especially English.

About Lindsay
I have a passion for teaching. I am studying to teach high school. I am going to school for and English degree, but I am considering making my minor a second major. That would be history. I love when students get that fire in their eyes, and it makes me feel accomplished.

My name is Guy, and I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to students and business professionals for 7+ years.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and a Master's degree in Linguistics. I have taught English to top executives at Yahoo!,
Rakuten, Kobo, Nikkei, DMM, NTT Corp., Yamada-Denki, and more.

As an experienced teacher, I understand how students learn and retain new information.

What's the secret?

The truth is, there isn't any secret. Learning English is very difficult. However, there are two things you must do:

1. Study English every day (listen, speak, read, and write).
Constant exposure is an absolute MUST when it comes to acquiring a new language. I work with each student to create a catered learning program to improve all 4 primary language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

The second ‘secret’ to learning a new language is to write—every day. All of my students have notebooks, and they all write daily. It's a simple method, but it works. During our first meeting together, we will discuss how to use writing exercises to improve other areas, such as listening, speaking, reading, and pronunciation.

My students include high school, undergraduate, and graduate students; young children; and adult speakers of all levels.

Whatever your language needs, I have the tools and tactics you need to improve your English and become more fluent.

I also teach drums and acoustic guitar to Beginner and Intermediate students at my home studio in Sebastian, FL.

Teacher Guy taught me English when I first came to the U.S. back in 2014. I was working for a financial company at the time, and my English was so bad that I almost never spoke to my coworkers. What Teacher Guy did for me was deconstruct the language learning process and show me how to learn the English language from the "top down" as a native speaker would. At our first meeting, Teacher Guy explained that this is the way children learn their language. Babies and young children are not taught grammar rules, but they learn grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in the context. And guess what! It worked for me! By the end of that year, I was so comfortable in my "new skin" that I began speaking during meetings at work and I made friends with many native speakers all thanks to Teacher Guy's lessons. I think Teacher Guy uses a special and highly effective teaching method that combines natural conversation with reading and speaking practice. Teacher Guy gave me a writing assignment every week and it was always enjoyable. He used the writing assignment to measure my progress and teach me better ways to make some expressions. Teacher Guy has an impressive ability to hear pronunciation mistakes and always corrected me in a gentle way. He would say "Can you repeat that again?" not "You said that phrase incorrectly." I would highly recommend Teacher Guy's lessons if you are serious about learning English and becoming a more fluent English speaker.

I look at the context of each student. What kind of English is going to be useful and valuable for this particular student? Every student has different goals, and because of this the content of each lesson will vary depending on the student. However, I will use the same approach to English teaching with each student: which is full immersion into English, and learning the different core skills and vocabulary in context of real-life materials and situations.

About Nicolette
Hi future students!
My name is Nicolette, I go by Nico. I am a professional ESL teacher and Masters Student, studying to get a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have 2 1/2 years of teaching English as a Second Language in Korea and locally in San Francisco.
