Don does an outstanding job! He is able to connect authentically my son and customized the lessons to fit his learning style and needs. Don has drawn so much out of him musically and has also built a community of students that play together. He makes the lessons fun and engaging. He has opened up my 7-year old to the joy of playing and performing and has helped create a love of music. I highly recommend Don as a music teacher.

I have taught over twenty students from kindergarten through college graduates and foreign students. My teaching covers all language arts skills including casual writing, essays, formal writing, research papers, as well as vocabulary, spelling, sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, etc.

Let me show you how successful you or your child can be!

About Matthew
Dear Parents and Students,

May I be a personal tutor for you or your child? I have been successfully tutoring for over 12 years. I have great references, and I am one of the top tutors because I am so easy to work with. I teach in person, or via TakeLessons classroom, telephone, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Join.me, Appear.in, Screenhero (remote desktop, screen sharing) interactive whiteboards, as well as email attachments (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.) I graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University, where I made the Dean's List. I also earned a Provost Academic Scholarship for my excellent test scores, including 34 in ACT mathematics and 780 in SAT mathematics.

In addition to teaching for Cleveland schools, I currently teach 20 private sessions each week, 1st through 12th grade, as well as college stud
ents and business professionals. I have also served on the faculty at Cuyahoga Community College.

I am patient, friendly and many students tell me that I explain concepts more effectively than their teachers. I am available weekdays or weekends, days or nights, throughout the entire year. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding my experience and teaching methods. While it should go without saying, I have a clean background that has been verified by the FBI and BCII. Let me know if you would like to set up an introductory lesson to design a customized strategy. There is no obligation to continue unless a customer is 100% satisfied.

I am one of the Top Five Tutors for:
1. most diverse subject matter
2. widest student age range
3. farthest geographical regions
4. largest client base
5. most hours taught monthly

Please note: I have set up my billing in thirty minute increments. Thus, I am able to offer lessons of varying lengths. However, I would appreciate longer sessions. I thank you for your time and consideration and look forward to being at your service!

I want to share my love of writing with my students. The written word is still considered to be highly valued in the Unites States and it is essential in everyday life. Obviously what I teach to an elementary child would differ than a college student but reaching a high level of writing ability would be foremost.

About Cathryn
Hello! My name is Cathy and I have been teaching voice (singing) for over 30 years. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm a stogy old girl who doesn't have a pulse on contemporary music. I teach pop, country, broadway, folk, whatever it is your interested in. I do teach with vocal exercises because without them no changes will be made and that's the whole point right to change your voice? However you do get to sing songs. I teach, so that you will change your voice and succeed in whatever avenue you want. My degree is in Vocal Performance from Northeastern Illinois University and one year of Masters work in Drama from DePaul University.

I also teach ESL, Reading, Writing, History which I have done for the past six years. I use a variety of techniques since no two people are alike to help you learn English or the Ameri
can lifestyle. I presently teach Caterpillar employees, spouses and children. Let me teach you and see how far we can go.

Thank you.

Timon is a really great guitar teacher. I am an older student who has had some previous musical education in other instruments. Timon is able to understand my goals and customize the learning plan and approach to meet me at my current level of skills and understanding. He has an incredible knowledge of music from both a theory POV as well as different genres, styles and music eras. He is really fun to work with and and is always supportive and encouraging. I look forward each week to the learning process. I definitely believe I will be a much better, more well-rounded guitar player working with Timon than I would be with other teachers that I have met.

I have a B.A in Applied Linguistics and four years of tutoring experience. In high school, I got D's on my first Advanced Placement history and English assignments. I turned my grades around in less than a month, earning the highest marks in my class--I was that student my classmates sneered at for setting the curve!! I think anyone can improve their writing with a bit of practice and a little change in attitude. My writing skills have earned me scholarships, awards, and jobs. I work as a freelance editor on the side and as a paralegal during the week.

About Mariah
If you've ever been sitting at a desk or laptop trying to write an essay and thought "Writing sucks. This is the worst. I'm never going to finish this," then I sympathize. I have had a rigorous writing education, and it has included many ups and downs. I've had papers torn apart (literally and figuratively) in front of me. Writing is often stressful and cause anxiety. I won't lie, I've cried over a lot of papers in my life because I know I'm capable of solid, effective writing--but it takes hard work and a lot of energy. Results are not immediate so it can feel really pointless as times. But when you're writing with the help of someone who understands, who knows that part of the writing process is sometimes to just take a nap and start over in an hour, then it can feel much less daunting.
