I've been taking lessons with Susan Scher for about two months now. I can easily say I've been impressed at how much I've improved. I look forward to lessons every week. I feel that soon enough I'll be able to audition for roles in film and television. If you live in the Baltimore area and are interested in voice acting or any acting in general. Contact her and go, you won't be disappointed.

I did not know what to expect when I signed up to take classes with Susan. I decided to take classes with her for two reasons: Her studio is not far from me and 2, the good reviews left by her clients. All I wanted was to learn the fundamentals and techniques about acting. Susan was excellent and very patient. She offered water in each lesson, which is also very kind. Her interpersonal connection brings a sense of comfort. Her studio is very neat and welcoming. I do not have regrets in my selections and I know you won't be disappointed too.

Best experience! My son who is on 6th grade had to take the SSAT in a short period of time and Chris got him engaged from the first class, not easy for an online class. He was easy to communicate and was open to work with our schedule. Thanks for all the work you did!

Great Algebra tutor! Chris was tutoring my daughter in algebra. He picked up very quickly to see where her weakness is. He is very patient and takes his time in making sure my daughter gets it done. Excellent tutor.

I've had a book published and have written for a multi-national newspaper. I also got A grades right up until I finished college with English and Creative Writing. My style of teaching is very relaxed and informal, I want students to feel they can be equals with me, and gain confidence and be proud of their work. I set homework but I also encourage students to get creative in their own time and to show initiative! The most rewarding thing is that with writing, you can nowadays find so many outlets for your work - the sky's the limit!

Lessons can involve looking at literature and different styles of writing, as well as finding something that sparks the imagination and interest. I work especially well with young teens and pre-teens, as well as those who are looking to further their writing skills.

Whatever your or your child's age or grade level, I will provide the instruction needed to accomplish your or your child's academic goals. I make writing fun and productive by setting challenging yet realistic goals and providing engaging lesson plans that will drive the student to be attentive and engaged. She came prepared and was accommodating. Lilia showed patience with my son with autism, which I appreciated and was relieved to see. She also has great pedagogical knowledge of how to instruct a child in piano.

She does "unclean" vocals in her band, Karkaza but is super knowledgeable on regular singing. After only a couple months, I'm beginning to see some progress despite my years singing improperly.

Needless to say, she was selected to participate in the writing program. We both know that Jonita’s guidance and collaboration helped her achieve that goal.
