Elmos is very knowledgeable and explains each step with precise instructions. Elmos asked what I wanted to accomplish with my lessons, and went to the point.

I recently completed a minor in religious studies while completing my BA at a 4-year college. I greatly enjoyed my school's religion program, taking classes such as Biblical Hebrew, Christian, Judaic, and Islamic scriptures, World Religions, Sexuality and religion, and more, earning a 4.0 GPA in the religion department. I had a great time studying religion, and I would love to help others have a great time studying religion as well. Religions are an enormous part of humanity-historically and today, so learning about them can be enlightening in many ways, spiritually and otherwise.

Due to I had to learn English as a Second Language since I was born in Colombia, grammar is absolutely familiar to me, in fact, I have developed new Grammar Teaching Techniques for English and Spanish Teachers.
By the way, I love teaching!!! and Grammar is a game just like playing a sport; First you need to learn the rules and then let's enjoy the game!!

Math is much more fun when it makes sense, isn’t it?!
My lessons are unique because you are unique. Everyone doesn’t learn the same way, so I will explain math the way it makes sense to you so that you can understand. I have experience in tutoring as I was a peer tutor in high school. Of those I tutored, many told me I explain math well, so here I am to share my skills! I am patient, understanding, and friendly, which I believe are important qualities for a tutor to have. I hope I have the chance to work with you! You are smart and very capable!!!

Another thing worth mentioning is Colin's passionate approach to teaching. He would always go about each lesson with unmistakable enthusiasm, showing that even calculus could be fun, if you were willing to see it as so. He was also always willing to go all the way with any problem, even if it went over the time limit; he wanted to make sure that I had no questions or concerns about any topic, no matter how complex it might have been. So, all in all, if you are looking for a suitable calculus tutor, Colin is certainly a very worthy option!"
