Book NowWith my Dance Choreography lessons, we will focus on building awareness of the body, understanding musicality, style/swag and control. Although we will work on choreo retention (picking up and remembering steps), the main focus of each lesson will be on movement quality: speed variation, attention to detail and execution of the texture(s) of each movement. Lastly, in my lessons, we will learn how to FEEL and CONNECT to the artist/music. I believe that if you feel good, you'll look good!
Not convince? Book a 30min session with me for Free and I'll prove that you can become awesome dancer, while having a great time!

I am a classically trained dancer with 20 years experience in performance. I have always been passionate about historic costumes and was introduced to historic dance while getting my degree from Ga. State University. I am currently the director of the Atlanta Historic Dance Company. I've performed, taught and choreographed for performances on stage, at historic events and in the film industry for the last 10 years.
Historic Dance can run the gamut between beginning level dances up to professional level performance. I can tailor your lesson to fit your needs. The most popular lesson at the moment is the 1920's Charleston. I can also offer lessons in popular social dances from the Renaissance up through the 1960's.

As someone who coaches youth soccer for work, and have been coaching for 17 years, I was impressed with Sara's motivational, patient, enthusiastic, preparedness, and efficient qualities/capabilities.
My niece and I worked Sarah on a choreographed routine. My most important post-session measurements are if the participants learned, had fun, and wanted to do more, which was how my niece was feeling at the end.
Thanks a bunch Sara!"
