I have been teaching acting since 2013 and use a combination of tools and techniques from many of the well known acting theories. Everyone is uniquely different with special goals, ways of learning, and ideas in mind. I find pride in quickly learning what each of my students are looking for and leading the way to their own personal victories, no matter how big or small! I teach a number of styles including, but not limited to, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Hip Hop/Street Jazz/Jazz Funk, Turns, Leaps & Jumps and more. Although I possess over 10 years of teaching experience, I find myself learning something new with nearly every student I encounter. Every student is a new opportunity for me to inspire AND be inspired.
The general structure of my classes are similar. Thorough warm up, which would include exercises, drills and foundational practices from the Ballet, Modern and Jazz genres, stretching, strengthening and conditioning sequences and finally execution of concepts directly related to the style I might be teaching sum them up well. In the end, my goal is for my students to leave feeling ...

With my background with The Method as a Lifetime Member of The Actor's Studio and Meisner training at The New York Neighborhood Playhouse, I combine both techniques to help the actor bring his or her unique voice to the character. The focus is on actively listening to the other actor and living truthfully under the given imaginary circumstances.

After some research, I found Tyler. And may I just say, THANK GOD that their are still "acting teachers" out their who know what they're talking about. In this day and age, anyone can call themselves an artist or art coach. You see that a lot with singers/dancers, comedians, film artists or musical theater performers who think they know what acting truly is and can teach it. If any prospective teacher claims acting is pretending, or that its all about fun, or that you just have to be/express yourself to be successful, etc... RUN AWAY. They probably have no real education behind it and are a waste of your time and money. This guy is the real deal and I hope I have the pleasure of working with him someday. One Million Thumbs UP!!!"
