With my advertising background, having clients from Fortune 500 companies – NY Giants; Phillip Morris; and Walmart to name a few, I SPEAK Marketing! I also have worked in New York and Atlanta for Saks Fifth Ave; Forever 21; Steinmart, Inc.,; West Elm as a Visual Merchandiser; Manager; and Design Assistant. Lastly, as a fashion business owner / MBA graduate, I also have taught on the college level as an Adjunct Professor for three different colleges/universities and am experienced in different learning techniques – classroom/online instructing; resume building; job placement; and faculty/student interactions.
Some of my former students through my industry relationships are working for VonMaur Atlanta; Amazon in London; and Lord & Taylor in New York (before they closed in Jan. 2019).

I am an avid reader myself, and I have experience with students who have dyslexia, ADHD, or for whom English is a second language, as well as students who may just need a little bit of extra practice/help.
I have a good sense of what aspects of reading are difficult for students, and often incorporate music, rhythm, rhyme, drama/acting, and humor, to help struggling readers.
I have been teaching music (guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, recorder, music theory, and classes for toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults) for over 20 years. I am also a band/show director at the School of Rock! In addition to teaching music, I also tut

I have been tutoring math for about 2 years. I have a specific teaching style with an emphasis on breaking down concepts into simple terms that could be easily absorbed and remembered to ensure that the objective of the lesson is understood. I love answering questions and helping people to understand concepts. Physics can be a very difficult subject to learn. My goal is to help my Student fully understand the concepts. Physics is all around us and is therefore an important topic to understand. I want my students to reach their full potential while having a great time learning!
I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Architecture. I am a Professional Engineer and soon to be Architect. Working in the construction industry requires me to work with different maths and physics principles on a daily basis. If the Student is serious about learning m

The SSATs can be overwhelming. 500-600 vocabulary words and an extensive list of math concepts to remember. Although standardized tests are terrible indicators of aptitude and intelligence, the unfortunate reality is that this is the way that private schools determines a child’s eligibility for acceptance. I’d love the opportunity to work with your kid and teach the skills, concepts, and techniques necessary to improve their SSAT score.
