After speaking to multiple tutoring companies, we discovered Matthew. Matthew was very professional and made my son feel comfortable. They had a total of 5 tutoring sessions covering Math, English, Science and Reading. My son took the ACT after his tutoring sessions and scored a 23. We were very pleased with the progress our son made by going from an ACT score of 19 to 23 after only 5 sessions with Matthew. I would highly recommend Matthew J. Horwich to anyone needing tutoring.

Matthew explained his approach to coaching and the plan so we were able to make an educated choice on the best tutor for our son. Matthew was responsive, organized and worked very well with our son. He communicated directly with our son and cc:ed me so that I was aware of the plan and f/u. His scores did improve on the SAT and we were pleased with the investment.

Matt has been awesome for my student. His math skills have improved greatly, and his writing has come from illegible to what can now be described as neat and readable. Matt has been very patient and deliberate with our son and has taken the time to really explain things to Jake in a way he can understand. We would recommend this tutor to any parent looking for a tutor for their grammar school student! Matt is also reliable and prompt and showed up when expected which was helpful with our very busy schedules.

I am a 62 year old person who had previously studied Spanish using Rosetta Stone and Duolingo. I started taking lessons with Georgina several years ago to provide a regular opportunity to engage in Spanish conversation. Our lessons have been free-flowing and she introduced me to a number of books written in Spanish which were not only helpful in further developing my knowledge of Spanish but were culturally enlightening as well. Georgina is easy to engage, a delightful person to know and an excellent instructor.

I have taught ESL or English Second Language to all ages from toddlers to older adults. Classrooms full of teenagers. I really enjoy it and teach in a way that other teachers would never dream of. My approach is casual and pleasurable.

I am a Spanish Language Consultant
I am a concierge tutor meaning that I make every meeting personalized for you. Everyone learns a language differently. For some they just want to speak. For others they want to learn to read or write. And some want to do it all. Either way I will do everything in my power to assure that happens.
Where did I learn Spanish? I took it in high school like all of us and failed out in the second year. Then seven years later I took a class in Bellevue College and got the best grade in the class. Soon after the class finished I moved to Bogotá, Colombia for a year and half where I really improved
my level to near native status. When I was a kid in high school I did not see how cool it is to be able to speak another language nor did I care. However, now it was a defining point in my life and something that no one can take away from me.
My schedule is also very flexible giving you plenty of freedom over when to meet.
I am connected to a network of native speakers who are all my very close friends who can be included in the sessions when the time is right or whenever you may like.
I have been a Spanish Consultant since 2011 and love doing it. I really get fired up when students begin to take off on their own with the language with less and less of my help.
I don't think you will find a more passionate tutor.
Students who will succeed with me can be of any age but should have these traits if they wish to excel: Discipline Not afraid to make mistakes Positive attitudes Open mind Willingness to think outside of the box
Bryce has a wealth of knowledge and works with my whole family, all at different levels. He has a unique way of making everyone feel included and teaching to each family member so we all make progress toward our goal of Speaking Spanish fluently.

Hi there! I'm Anna, and I'm looking forward to meeting you. I've been offering private piano lessons since 2009 and offer foundations in music theory, technique, sight-reading and classic piano repertoire.
I begin most students in Faber method books, before branching into classical repertoire including selections from Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary time periods. My teaching style is flexible though, so I'll be happy to adapt to your individual liking and needs.
In 2012 I graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a degree in music and in 2017 I completed my Master's in Education from Post University. Today I enjoy teaching music to students ranging from six years old through adult.
I believe quality practice and motivation are key to success, and I'm looking forward to helping you succeed!
Anna is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled musician, which inspires her students to want to excel themselves! My 7year old son has been taking lessons from Anna for about 2 years. He is excited to go to his lesson each week! Although my son struggles with some dyslexia, Anna is extremely patient with him and makes him feel like he is valuable and capable. She has adjusted the method and curriculum to find something that works well for him. She carefully explains the lessons, makes my son feel so special, and inspires him to want to learn.

I love to work with students on grammar and reading, but I can also teach speaking, listening, and writing. If you want to work with an experienced, kind, and friendly teacher who can help you learn English, contact me.
