I teach my students how to control nerves and to be confident (even when you don't feel confident) and how to focus on incorporating the things they have learned in voice lessons for their performance!

About Ellen

As Abbe' Dimnet once said, "Children have to be educated, but they have also to be left to educate themselves." I aim to teach my students how to sing through kinesthesia. This allows them to internalize what they are doing in the studio so they can practice it at home and be more successful. P

Ellen is excellent! She has listened to our daughter and helped her to learn several songs on the violin which is what she wanted. She is actually practicing almost daily! Ellen plays alongside her so she can get a feel for the notes and how they sound. I like the way she teaches. She encourages and praises our daughter all the time.

I love film acting! Students can expect to learn how to act for the camera: how to audition for film, TV and commercials and how to tap into their own inner resources in order to perform on film. Film acting performances are more nuanced because of the nature of the medium.

About Dana

Hello. I am a Colorado State certified drama teacher. I moved to Denver in 2015 from New York City. I love it here, and I am always looking for passionate students that want to learn stage and/or film acting and audition preparation. I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and receive

I've been acting since I was a child and I thought that I was a good actress but I quickly learned, in my adult years, that good is just not good enough. I knew that I needed something more, then I came across Roland and I will never be the same again. He helped me to go from good to extraordinary. I was pushed beyond where I thought that I could be. He saw my gifts and talents and he helped me cultivate them. I'm so greatful for my experience. Thank you Roland!
Latrice
I learned how to improve act. He has great warm up exercises that prepares you for more of his in depth training. It was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend to family and friends

"Carolyn put together a dance routine for my mother and I to dance to at my wedding reception. It was a 4 song mix, which she researched and put together moves that were easy and unique to the songs. My mom and I had a blast learning them and dancing to them, and everyone at the reception was quite impressed! It was definitely a huge hit! I also need to add that this was all done on short notice with a very quick turnaround. Carolyn is a professional who cares!

Thank you Carolyn!"

"Zach has the best critical eye I know. As a trained actor himself, he understands what it's supposed to be and guides you there without ever preventing you from being authentically yourself. He also brings his director's eye to self-tapes, elevating the scene by shaping the frame. The way we set up the camera for a battle scene allowed me to fully commit as an actor without worrying about the technical aspects of taping."

Acting Tips: What's in your Toolbox?

As with any profession, actors have tools. Just as a doctor needs a stethoscope or a fireman needs a hose, there are certain items an actor must keep in their toolbox. I usually start classes or lessons by asking my new students or clients what they think these tools might be. Sometimes, the answer is very literal ("Script!"), and other times abstract ("Passion!"). None of these is a wrong answer. Being an actor or artist is subjective and everyone's process is different and valid. But t …
