About Jenny
Music
Jenny comes from a very musical family and started piano when she was five years old. She grew up constantly listening to her father practicing his guitar and brother practicing violin. Since then, her accomplishments include an Honorable Mention at the Korea Times Youth Music Competition. She has performed in two solo recitals and has performed biannually with the Beverly Hills Chamber Orchestra. Jenny has participated in the Frederic Chopin Felix Mendelssohn Minifest 2005 and has regularly performed at the Colburn School of Performing Arts from 2003 - 2008. Jenny was also a part of the Goldcoast Chamber Music Festival and was awarded the second prize at the Chamber Music Walker Competition. She has excellent communication skills and has worked as an assistant to the Program Coordinator at Montecito Summer Music Festival while al
so participating as a performer. In addition to her musical abilities, Jenny has received many academic honors as well. She is a member of the Agoura High Chapter of the California Scholarship and is also on the Dean’s List at the University of Southern California. She graduated from USC with a BA in Music and emphasis on Piano.

Jenny started teaching neighborhood kids while she was in high school and has continued to inspire her students throughout her academic studies. She strives to make every lesson different, tailored to individual student’s needs, whether he or she is a beginning toddler or in need of advanced technique.

Dance
Jenny has always had a passion for the performing arts. During her years at USC, she discovered Latin dancing. She has performed, choreographed, and taught for USC's Latin dance team Break On 2 and is still involved. She has participated and performed at numerous salsa and bachata festivals/congresses.

Music
As a teacher, I try to make music learning as fun and well-rounded as possible. Every student is unique, and I try my best to accommodate every individual's needs. I encourage students to always ask questions, no matter how silly it might sound, and to trust me to help you achieve your goals. I encourage students to tell me their favorite songs and genre of music and use the knowledge to help keep them motivated, to remind them that learning is fun.

For all ages and levels, I prefer to incorporate music theory as part of the learning process. It allows the student to see the how and why, to not only feel music but also understand it. If your goal is primarily playing oriented, I will, of course, adjust my teaching style to fit your needs.

I learn something new from every student, love seeing my students improve and gain confidence in themselves. I ask that students come with an open mind and be prepared to make mistakes because no piece is perfect and neither are lessons. Lessons give you the opportunity to make mistakes without judgement. You can trust me to always have a positive attitude, it is OK to make mistakes, but practice to play better, and enjoy the feedback to see yourself improve! Learning piano does not happen in a few lessons and is a lifelong rewarding process. I hope to see you treat music with respect, so let's make beautiful music together!

Dance
I also provide choreography for wedding dances (couples, father/daughter). My main focus is on the social aspect of Latin dancing, such as salsa, bachata, merengue, and cha cha. Thus, I will only take students who are able to go out dancing to studios, restaurants, and clubs, meaning 18+ individuals or groups. Every week, I will provide new, cool, and stimulating choreography that supplements technique while developing your own unique style. I love to see my students out on the dance floor, implementing moves learned and having fun! Dancing is a healthy, joyful activity. Get ready for a confidence boost and let's get your heart pumping!

d many others. Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn has a great way of explaining things that keep the process simple, yet effective. I had two other piano instructors before I started taking lessons from Fawn, and neither were nearly as good. Fawn is the only piano teacher I've had that kept the whole learning process fun. I was able to learn a lot from her in such a short period of time. She makes the process enjoyable and addresses blocks and helps you break through them. Because of her, I'm playing at a super high level now. Every once in awhile I will call her to come in for help on an issue right before a performance. I would definitely recommend contacting her and setting up an appointment!

Fawn is wonderful, just wonderful! Got an issue with your voice? Solved. Problem with piano? Solved. Need to tighten up your songs or studio recordings? Solved. Not only is she super great at fine tuning and making you the best you can be, she gets to the root of the issues, which in my case stemmed from my childhood. She uprooted all that, helped me walk through and heal my past so I could free up my voice. Fawn is intuitive, kind hearted, humble, open, honest and an expert at making a person the best that they can be. I love her, and you will too. Truly the best! Thank you for everything Fawn!

Adam Gaines is a godsend. I was really lucky to have his guidance over the years which helped my craft and dedication to the art of writing greatly. He is a proven writer with legitimate credits but also, he actually cares. He is always ready to help and takes your material seriously which is most important when you want honest feedback and guidance. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of films, screenwriting, and the industry that is both impressive and beneficial. He is a wonderful friend and mentor who will always have a great recommendation or suggestion ready for your work and/or career. Adam is an extremely open individual with an immense passion for film and the craft of screenwriting which becomes infectious. Hello, I'm Amber, music education major and commercial music minor. My background in music extends to marching band competitions, teaching a classroom of 30+ students (age range 8 to 15), giving private lessons since '08, and performing at events like the Sugar Bowl of '11 and being featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Hi!

I'm a former engineer turned math and science teacher. My Mechanical Engineering education is from Stanford and my masters in Engineering Management is from Milwaukee School of Engineering. I have over 6 years of teaching experience in public, charter, and private school classrooms. I have 2 years of experience working part-time at one of the top-tier professional tutoring centers in the nation which has trained me to teach subjects ranging from beginning reading to high school courses and SAT/ACT prep.

I can teach any math from K-college. I like to say "K thru Calc!"! I have a passion for learning and try my best to light the fire for learning in all of my students. When it comes to the nuts and bolts of math, that's the easy part, but I take it father and have fun with math through story telling, connection with language and with
hands on applications (which can still be done online!).

Try me as a tutor and you will not be disappointed... : )
