My tap dance lessons will be tailored to you. Let me know what your goals are and what your motivation is for taking these dance lessons, and I will do my best to help you reach those goals. I have been extensively trained and have had several years of experience teaching many styles of dance - Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Scottish Highland, and Ballroom (including International and American styles). However, due to the current pandemic and availability of space, I am only teaching Tap dance right now. I have worked in dance studios for several years and was able to teach a couple of beginning and intermediate social dance courses at Brigham Young University as a student instructor as well. I am passionate about all things dance and am excited to go on this journey with you.
I have been taking dance classes since I was five years old, and I am now thirty-four. That's a long time. I got my first teaching gig at fourteen. I have studied ballet, tap, jazz, Scottish Highland, and ballroom dancing. I worked as a dance teacher at MacKinnon Dance Academy and Jill Johnson's Da

For many years I sang in my school Chamber Choir and took voice lessons. The choir performed regularly in pubic and in statewide competitions. I also have years of experience teaching the basics of singing in a low pressure way.
Topics we learn about include breathing and breath control, pitch and intervals, keys and scales and singing harmony. I can accompany a student while they sing, and hopefully teach them the basics of accompanying themselves.

Those words stuck with me all these years: not only for their brutal honesty, but also because I wish I had asked her: how do we deal with all this rejection? Fortunately, there are many A-list stars who can tell you stories of how they experie …
