DAVID IS AN OUTSTANDING TEACHER IN EVERY RESPECT. HIS KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH SEEMS EXCELLENT, AND HIS INTEREST IN THIS LANGUAGE IS CLEARLY VERY STRONG. THIS ALLOWS CLOSE ANALYSIS OF SPANISH, AND STANDS AS A SIGNIFICANT BENEFIT TO THE DIDACTIC PROCESS. IN TURN THIS PROMOTES A SPIRIT OF LEARNING IN CLASS WHICH IS INFORMATIVE AND GOOD FUN. FINALLY HIS KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH/ENGLISH COGNATES AND INDO-EUROPEAN ROOTS IS UNUSUALLY BROAD, WHICH MAKES LEARNING SPANISH WITH HIM EASY AND ENTERTAINING. I BELIEVE DAVID HAS A TRUE VOCATION FOR TEACHING, AND I HOPE I CAN GO ON WITH LESSONS WITH HIM FOR SOME TIME TO COME.

I would really love the opportunity to help you improve your English abilities. I believe in using examples, scenarios, conversation and visual aids to keep the class interesting. I listen to students needs in order to let you guide the lesson topics to where your learning needs and goals will be achieved. I am just a subject matter expert and a facilitator of your learning. I believe strongly in the value of education, self-learning and continuous learning. You will be a better learner if you approach each topic from your interests and from a discovery approach. Learning about the English language and reading English literature has always been a hidden hobby for me. I did not realize my love for it until my senior year of college when I had a stellar professor that encouraged us to discuss and explore material I would not have normally read on my own. I want to be the same kind of teacher for my students and help build their confidence in reading, writing, and communicating English.

About Sarah
I first started tutoring in college and found that I enjoyed helping other people learn about a subject that I already loved. There is no formula for a student to learn and remember the material, but I believe it is a teacher's job to engage the students in an inviting way in the hopes they at least don't dread the subject!
