1. **Basic Setup**: Stand in an open space with a basketball. Ensure you have enough room to dribble and move freely.

2. **Pound Dribble**: Begin by dribbling the basketball hard and low with one hand (let's say your right hand if you're right-handed). The ball should bounce no higher than your knee.

3. **Crossover Dribble**: After establishing a rhythm with the pound dribble, perform a crossover dribble. This involves quickly moving the basketball from your right hand to your left hand (or vice versa) in a diagonal motion across your body. 

4. **Repeat**: Alternate between pound dribbling and crossover dribbling continuously for a set period of time or a certain number of repetitions.

5. **Focus on Technique**: Pay attention to the quality of your dribble. The pound dribble should be firm and controlled, while the crossover dribble should be swift and precise.
