Writing is an art and science of self-expression. It gives the writer a unique opportunity to express him/her self with power and eloquence that is difficult to use with other methods of communication.

Students will have the opportunity to improve their grades while learning about different writing styles, and developing and perfecting their own.

I have taught writing for over five years and love to teach it because writing is my passion. I have written several award winning screenplays and work also work as a freelance writer. I have helped students write college essays which have helped them get into their first choice, graduate students with their research papers on psychology, nursing and business as well as young students writing some of their first creative essays... and everything in between.

Writing is an important way to communicate with others. Whether if you need to for work, school or any other reason, expressing yourself with the written word can be challenging without the proper foundation. I will use my academic experience as well as time as editor-in-chief of a publishing company to guide you through the process.

While there are several differences in the type of writing needed for an academic paper rather than a creative piece, all styles share many commonalities. I will help you find your voice and allow you to express yourself in the best possible way in a given situation.

Throughout my 15 years in school, I've had challenging English and writing teachers. Their rigorous lessons have helped me become an excellent writer with exceptional proofreading skills. When writing with me, I'll show you your mistakes and the best ways to avoid them in the future.

I grew up loving language and reading all the time, eventually majoring in English at a top-tier university. Throughout and since then, I have immensely enjoyed helping others with their writing. I have wide experience in teaching and editing for varied purposes, be the work academic, professional or creative. I'd love to help you in your writing endeavors!
