Hi! My name is Lilla, I'm a Juilliard graduate (BM & MM) who specializes with all levels, ages and styles! I've performed at places like Carnegie Hall and have been featured in The New York Times, Business Insider, WQXR Radio, truTV, Alive Magazine, Opera Today, and Seen & Heard International.

Hello! I'm Dax L., As a coach, my approach is kind, down to earth, and non-judgemental, but I make sure to give constructive criticism because without it, you cannot and will not improve. I have studied with a wide array of different acting coaches. I am also a producer, director, and screenwriter. Now having finally had the privilege of being the casting director for the film I produced, I have invaluable knowledge to share with you on what to do and what not to do when auditioning (both self-tapes and in person) if you choose to make one of our lessons an industry coaching lesson. For acting coaching, I have helped actors have that "WOW it finally makes sense" moment, where they understand what they had been lacking all along.. unpredictability! In my opinion, the things an actor needs to do to stand out in an audition is be unpredictable, believable, and fully focused. I am super excited to team up with TakeLessons and I hope to be your new coach!

I coach monologues, scenes and commercials. Hour sessions are available but count as two 30 minute sessions back to back.

In our lesson, you will explore movement, vocalization, character development and deepen your skills and delve more thoroughly into character development and script analysis, with emphasis on creating acting objectives and discovering scenes through character relationships.

Acting is such an incredible source of joy, and I am passionate about keeping that joy alive in our lessons. As an award-winning actress, singer, and dancer who received her BFA at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, I know my way around the industry and am excited to share my advice and experience with you. Our lessons will focus on script analysis, acting exercises, and performance techniques. Not only will you gain control over your instrument, you will learn how to act and perform freely! I promise that our lessons will be incredibly fun and rewarding.
